Sushi Dinner 🍤🦞🎉

Last night we organized a sushi night, or rather we went to our favorite Japanese restaurant, Mode. It is a very successful place and for a long time now it is always necessary to book the table a few days in advance to avoid not being able to access it. It is a very large restaurant, but the tables are not too close together and it is a very welcome thing for me, I do not like to eat with the boys near my table.

Me, my wife and a couple of dear friends, regulars of the restaurant, we organized an evening to be together for a while, it was in fact for some time that we had not met. I have been loving sushi for a couple of years and I am more and more enthusiastic about it, although the credit goes to my wife who somehow invited me several times to eat raw fish.

The restaurant is also very welcoming, bright and spacious. The waiters are always friendly and helpful, the service is truly impeccable and after a few minutes our food arrived at the table, perfectly prepared, ornamental dishes. Initially I admit that I had difficulty using chopsticks but now, with a little practice, I am quite autonomous and no longer require the use of cutlery!

Eating sushi is always a discovery of new flavors, spices and aromas. Italian cuisine is quite far from the Japanese tradition but I love the combination of sweet and sour flavors, the soy sauce and then the care in the preparation of every single course!

Ieri sera abbiamo organizzato una serata sushi, o meglio ci siamo recati nel nostro ristorante giapponese preferito, Mode. E' un locale che ha molto successo e da ormai molto tempo è necessario sempre prenotare il tavolo qualche giorno prima per evitare di non poter accedervi. E' un ristorante molto grande, ma i tavoli non sono troppo ravvicinati ed è per me una cosa molto gradita, non mi piace mangiare assieme ai ragazzi vicino al mio tavolo.

Io, mia moglie ed una coppia di cari amici, abituali frequentatori del ristorante, abbiamo organizzato una serata per stare un pò assieme, era infatti da un pò di tempo che non incontravamo. Ho iniziato ad amare il sushi da un paio di anni e ne sono sempre più entusiasta, sebbene il merito sia di mia moglie che in qualche modo mi ha invitato più volte a mangiare il pesce crudo.

Il ristorante è inoltro molto accogliente, luminoso e spazioso. I camerieri sono sempre gentili e disponibili, il servizio è davvero impeccabile e dopo pochi minuti il nostro cibo è giunto a tavola, perfettamente preparato, piatti ornamentali. Inizialmente ammetto di aver avuto difficoltà ad utilizzare le bacchette ma ora, con un pò di esercizio, sono abbastanza autonomo e non richiedo più l'ausilio delle posate!

Mangiare sushi è sempre una scoperta di nuovi sapori, spezie e profumi. La cucina italiana è abbastanza lontana dalla tradizione giapponese ma io adoro l'accostamento di sapori agrodolci, la salsa di soia e poi la cura nella preparazione di ogni singola portata!
