Anyone who has ever thought about exercising and engaging in any physical activity, and adjusting their diet accordingly, knows how hard that first step is - how hard it is to start. We will always find a million and one excuses and excuses why now is not the right time, my finances are not arranged, my schedule is overbooked, etc. And the truth is completely different - it is difficult to take only that first step and "force" to start.
We usually decide on that when "the water reached the throat". When our back hurts, we have no energy, hernias move dangerously upwards, and health suffers. And only then do we realize that the devil has taken the joke and that it is high time we move on.
To respond in time, make a plan today! Set a goal that you want to achieve and in what period you want it. Take your time and write it down in detail to have a monthly, weekly and daily schedule. That way, you will know exactly what your expectations are, how you are progressing and what other work awaits you.
Make a detailed measurement of all parameters so you can track progress. Plan what you will be doing and how often. And most importantly, persevere in it.
If you think that you are not doing well in this world, you can always seek the help of an expert - a coach or a nutritionist, depending on what your goal is.
When we start an activity - energy and motivation grow. Full of energy and only when we see the first results do we think that we are on top of the world and that we have no end! But after a while, the motivation drops.
Sometimes it happens because of the stagnation of results, sometimes the schedule thickens so much that we think we don't have time to breathe - everyone is looking for their own - work, family, friends, children. And a healthy life falls into the background again.
Let’s miss one workout, another then a third. One meal, then another. And then the thoughts start "And now I've disrupted everything, there's no point in continuing again now." And that's a big mistake! Because a drop in motivation, an occasional bad period and an unhealthy meal happens to absolutely everyone, even professional athletes.
We are human and that is normal. But just then you need to recall all those good things that a lifestyle change has brought you less pain, more energy, that weight less. And let it give you wings for even better, even stronger!
There is no giving up until you have reached your goal - someone will need less, someone more time. Someone will achieve their goal with less toil while someone will have to sweat well. But in the end it all comes down to motivation and perseverance.
The only person we depend on is ourselves.
What drives your life forward includes your motivation.
