Trying To Survive The AxieBCH Scholarship September 22 when I received my Axies from Coach Nazko. I was excited and was ready to start my game, but it took me hours to figure out how to set them up. Furthermore, I was able to play the game with ease but the level of difficulty started after a few tries of the easy mode.

It may have been 5 days since I got my Axies, but I'm not sure if I can ever survive this. Five days on grinding, yet I'm still having a hard time getting an easy win on the arena. While the other scholars are doing great, here I am, stuck at less than 800 MMR or Matchmaking Rating. Although our Coach didn't require us to reach a certain MMR yet since we are still new or under-provision, we are still expected to do better. This is why I'm starting to doubt my skills in this game. I feel like I don't belong here. Nevertheless, with the support of my fellow scholars, I might have a chance to get myself on the right track before the judgment day. My non-strategic strategy When it comes to adventure, I must say that I have improved quite a lot last night. Thanks to @Glez and her partner, I now understand the combos my fellow scholars are talking about. Before this, I had no idea that there was such, to begin with. I just dropped one or more cards whenever it is my turn while trying to be sure that it will give a huge hit to the opponent. The adventure, by the way, is like your training ground for your Axies. This is to help you familiarize yourself with your Axies' ability. Last night, after learning the combos that Glez's partner shared with me during our screen-sharing session on Discord, I was able to win straight and only got one defeat. I usually don't win like that before. Now, I am confident that I have at least a 95% chance to win in the adventure without having to use so much of my energy. https://youtu.be/PJDQymVkkf4 Attack combos I've just learned Here are the combos, by the way. In case, we have readers here who are also playing Axie Infinity with the same team as mine: **the BBP (Bird, Beast, Plant).** `In my previous Axie-related article, I said PBB. Sorry, it should have been BBP. Lol.`  Combinations **Bird**  Soothing Song + Eggbomb + Blackmail Eggbomb + Blackmail Blackmail (anti-poison) **Beast** Single Combat + 2 Luna Absorb Single Combat + 2 Ivory 2 Single Combat + Ivory + Nut Crack 2 Nut Crack **Plant** Vegetal Bite + 1 card 2 Wooden Stab So here are the combos that Glez's partner taught me. I used these combos during my adventures last night, and it was pretty effective. It gave me easy wins compared to my previous days. The problem is when it comes to the arena, I'm still not that confident I guess. Despite the one-on-one coaching last night, I'm still not confident playing in the arena as I'm more worried about my MMR going really down again. I think I need to relax next time and avoid worrying too much so I can focus more on the gameplay. By the way, as I am writing this, I am also watching a video tutorial about BBP on YouTube. Here are a few of what I have learned from the video and the one-on-one tutorial from last night aside from the combo tips: Beginners are more advisable to use **20 energies on the adventure** for 2 weeks to level up the Axies. This means that when you do your daily quest, only play in the arena once your energy is already 0. Using an **Eggbomb** card without Blackmail will only risk your Bird from your opponent's next attack. The **Soothing Song** is perfect to ignore the shield of the opponent. The **Blackmail** can be used when your Bird was hit with poison. Using this card will transfer the poison effect to whichever Axie will receive it. To skip when you don't have enough combos to drop or use a card from your Plant. So that's it. These are the things that I've learned from last night and today's video. I will keep on learning to gain more knowledge so I would survive this scholarship. I really want to stay on AxieBCH scholarship so hopefully, I can do better to prove to them that I also deserve this.

*Closing thoughts* I know I'm the weakest of the scholars, which is why I already have a backup plan in case things didn't turn out well. Since I already have a little knowledge about Axie Infinity, if ever Coach Nazko decided to let go of me for being not good enough for his team, then I will buy my own Axies. I will still choose the Axies I'm currently using. Yes, I know it will cost a lot, but it's an investment anyway. I will still ask Coach if I could stay on their server to learn more. This thought is already at the back of my head just in case I wouldn't be able to survive his scholarship. I just hope I won't have to do that, though. Lol.
