It's already 9PM as of typing this but yet I still do not have anything on my mind to share. These past few days I am back to drafting my article around evening time because I am busy playing a game on my (other) phone. It has been installed for years now and it was just recently that I enjoyed playing it. Just like in cooking and exercising, I feel like I get to clear my mind when I am playing a game though the downside is more screen time and less time here.
And because my brain has been on playing mode, I will just talk about our dogs. I have already shared some backgrounds about Doggie and Doggie; which are not their real names by the way but sounds like. When my mom and I were still watching movies on Netflix few weeks ago, we happened to watch a movie about dogs again. After A Dog's Journey, we watched Think Like A Dog. Have you seen that film? It is not like literally to think like a dog but it is a story of a kid who was able to hear or understand what the dog has to say. For pet owners, have you also wished or wanted that your pets can talk? I do not know with you but my mom and I would always tell our dog to say something. LOL.
This morning when my dad was watching NBA in our living room, I already saw Doggo went beside my dad's on the level of his face as he was lying down. I knew instantly what he wanted to tell my dad and that is, "hooman, scratch my body". LOL. I looked at my dad to see what he will do but he intentionally ignored Doggo. I saw Doggo looked at my dad 3 times until he tried to push my dad's elbow by his snout. It was really cute but still my dad tried to ignore him until Doggo stood up and tried to lick his face to get his attention. So my dad asked Doggo to go to the his left side so he could scratch him. Doggo likes to be scratched and my dad also likes to scratch him because he can see the Doggo is really enjoying it especially on his ticklish parts. Sometimes Doggo would go up to the couch where my dad is and sometimes it would last for more than 5 minutes. My dad have witnessed their loyalty and how much joy a dog can bring to a person.
After half an hour, Doggo went to me and I asked him if he wanted to pee. Even if he did not respond to me, I know that he wanted to pee so we went out. The same thing happened after an hour so I let them out again but they did not pee. When we came back inside, it was water that Doggo wanted. LOL. He stand next to their drinking bowl and I knew right away that he wanted water. We sometimes cannot notice if their bowl has water so what they usually do is they would stand in front of it and looked at you with those cute eyes and telling you to give them water. Whenever they would do that, we would always tell them that they should say that they wanted some water. LOL. We really love talking to our dogs.
The third time that they peed, I laid on my stomach on our helper's bed while waiting for them because I was really sleepy. When Doggo was done, he was licking my foot and I know he was telling me that he was already done peeing. I took a short nap on our helper's room but Doggo was still trying to wake me so we can go inside but I still ignored him. We went inside after 10 minutes.
Oh our dogs are really adorable. It is Doggo who is always active but whenever we are eating, it is Doggie who would always be the one who would go to each of our sides begging to give him some food though it is always on my dad's side because Doggie knows that I rarely give him food when I am eating. My dad would always give them food even when I told him not to. Spoiled dogs. LOL.
Yesterday afternoon, I heard a dog was barking from a far and Doggie also barked as if the 2 of them were talking to each other. I was wondering what they were talking about and I was curious how come Doggo did not talked/barked back to the dog. When I was listening to the alternate barks of Doggie and the other dog, I tried to recall a movie that I have watched when I was a kid where the dogs from different places kept on barking because they were sort of passing a message. I am positive that it was from the cartoon 101 Dalmatians. Have you seen that cartoon?
I saw some videos before where dogs react to the barks even on TV. I tried to do that on our dogs but they did not really care. I tried it with a cat's meow and it worked. LOL. At first they were trying to look where that meow came from and when they knew that it was from my room, they barked nonstop. LOL.
My dad on the other hand would want our dogs to respond to the barks on TV and also he wanted our dogs to watch TV especially if it was about dogs. However, they are not really the TV type of dogs. LOL.
After wondering about heaven, hell and purgatory, here I am wondering about our dogs. LOL. What do you think do our pets think when they are awake? What do you think they dream about? Whatever they think and dream about, I hope our pets would always know that we love them even if sometimes they make us worry.
P.S. lead image is our dogs.
Dogs are very intelligent, you talk to them and they understand what you tell them. The problem is when they talk to us, we don't understand them, but with gestures they show you what they want.
