Planner update
Less than a week before the first month of the year is over. How was your January goals?
Last night I checked on one of my goals and I saw that I have not hit it yet. I set a target of reading 15 articles per day but on the average, I have only read 8. I know there are still a few days left though I feel that it is impossible for me to reach 15.
Then when I checked our mailbox this morning, I saw that our electric bill was already there. Because of my fear of going out to do errands day, I had convinced my dad that we pay it online. However, I know in the coming days I will need to go out to buy grocery supplies and my parents' maintenance medicines. I guess I will have to worry about that when that day comes.
Since I had convinced my dad to pay our bills online, I got to update my planner. Most of you have probably seen this on some of my noisy posts and when I published an article about my $1 challenge. Sadly, I have not yet saved a single BCH for my $1 challenge but I am happy that I have already started to put in a few amounts on one of my savings account.
Do you have your own savings account? How much do you put in on it? When do you usually schedule your deposits? Is it daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually? Last year my goal was to put in Php200 ($4) every month on each of my savings account. Just like what happened with my $1 challenge, I was not able to finish it until the end of 2021 because the money that I earned was only enough for my debts and sometimes it was not even enough so I stopped around June to August. What was worse is that some of the money that I have saved was also used for my debts. It was really impossible for me to save when I have a huge debt but at least I have tried.
My goal now is to do it again and I even increased it to Php300 ($6) each savings account every month. I just really hope that I will be able to do this in the coming months. Considering that I still have some debts to pay. Why do I feel like my debts never ends? I know it is entirely my fault in the first place. What hurts even more is I haven't paid for card 1 then here comes the statement of account for card 2. I think I am going to get a heart attack. LOL.
Since I was already updating my planner and tracking my savings, I also listed my payables for next month. I love Math, I love numbers but looking at the subtotal, made my eyes and head hurt. Let us not forget that next month is my dad's birthday. Other than the party decorations, I want to give him something else more so now that he complains that his eyes are getting blurry as days pass by.
Anyways, going back with my planner. It is where I monitor my $1 challenge last year and how much I put in on my savings account. It is also where I keep track of my monthly visits and when I took my medication. Last year I placed a green $ sign in every days that I put in $1 into my wallet but I do not know what to put in this year. I am thinking of stickers but I haven't bought one yet. What do you think? I still don't have a dollar to put into my challenge since I need to save some money for next month's payables and my dad's birthday. We can also add that it will be my brother's birthday the month after.
I hope the next time that I am going to update you all with my planner is that I have already achieved my savings goals and my $1 challenge. Do you also keep a planner? I guess most of you write down their plans, schedules or meetings on it but me it isn't. I find it easier to monitor my money. I also hope that my 2023 planner will be filled with flight schedules, orders for my business and video uploads. I would really love for that to happen. I guess this is the part where I say that I MUST hustle more. Money come to me!! LOL.
Sorry if I have not read your articles and replied to your comments. I promise to do that tomorrow. I want to thank you all for taking your time in read my Q&As. Also thank you to my sponsors.

P.S. lead image is my planner.
I would also like to achieve this challenge of 1$ per day, but it is impossible to achieve it at the moment. I hope you can pay off all your debts and achieve the challenge.
