Tonight with Yuri

It's been a while since I last posted about Yuri's witty moments which happens all day, everyday. So let me share this slight serious conversation we have tonight before she fell asleep.

After praying and saying goodnight to her daddy (who went back to Manila last Saturday), she fixed her toys, open our cute lampshade and turned-off the lights. As I was humming some random lullabies, she keeps on talking and it goes like this:

Yuri: Mommy, in our dream house, you and daddy will have a separate area.

Me: What area?

Yuri: When we will have our own house and lot, you will have your own garden area while daddy will have his own builder's area. Then we will have a pool infront of our house!

Me: Wow! Where will you put your car then?

Yuri: Besides the pool area, we will have a garage and 2 cars; 1 van and 1 smaller one. The van will be color pink with unicorn, Barbie and princesses as design. Then our room will be big, it can accommodate 4-5 people. We will also have a play area, teens area, music room.

Me: That's great! And then?

Yuri: Then we will have our own SM here in Pug-os.

Me:. Oh wow! What will your work be then?

Yuri: I will be a pizza chef!

Me:. Okay, then let's sleep so that you'll be healthy and will soon fulfill that dream for mommy and daddy.

Yuri's imagination sometimes is super complete, as if she already pictured in her mind what will happen and how will everything look like. It just fascinates me when she started talking, it's non-stop and she can elaborate every details of it. For a 7-year old, I am super impressed because I was never like that. Maybe because of our genes (😁🤔), what she sees around her and what she is watching on YT and on tv.

I always pray that God will continue to bless her, pour on her wisdom and knowledge that she could fulfill and achieve all those dreams with His guidance.

Her ultimate goal right now is to be a good dance. She was super happy when one time she felt that her moves were getting better. So I encouraged her to keep practicing and to even dance infront of the mirror so she could see how she progress🙂
