Photography Tip #2: Set your camera's FOCUS

Tap the screen to correct your phone camera's focus just before snapping the picture to ensure the moving subject has as much focus as possible. A square or circular icon should then appear on your camera screen, shifting the focus of your shot to all of the content inside that icon.

"A beautiful disaster"

Mount Mayon, one of the Philippines' most active volcanoes, is as renowned for its beauty as it is feared for its destructiveness. Admired for its symmetry and classic cone shape, the volcano was named for mythological fairy, "DARAGANG MAGAYON".

Mayon Volcano is located at Bicol Region, particularly in the Province of Albay. It is my hometown. Tourists have been visiting this precious creation for it is only the "perfect coned" volcano in the world. And if you haven't visit it yet, I'm glad to bring Mayon to you.

Note: These photos are captured using my ASUS x018d smartphone. And this time, I didn't have any enhancement with the photos. It is totally raw.

I've captured these photos when we're having our educational tour. It was taken last year. I was with my classmates and friends that time and @curlypopp was one of them. We had a great time taking memorable and cute photos. Okay I'm starting to look back now and miss that day haha.

This photography article is dedicated to @charmingcherry08 who I recently met days ago and had a chitchat with.

Hey girl, I didn't forgot your dedication request this time haha.

We are always updated by the phivolcs about the situation and warning signals of Mayon's eruption. So, we are very careful whenever we got too close with it. We will always check on the weather too. Thank you for yoir concern! i really appreciate it. ❣️ Anyways, are you a filipino too?

Yes it already erupted before and its disaster. A lot of casualties recorded. We can go close to it whenever its calm and there's no warning signak that it will erupt. I will bluntly say yes, it's really hard but i know it'll be worth it. Look at me i don't particularly excel in mathematics which is one of the foundation subject in engineering, plus it's not actually my dream profession but because i have this passion to finish this because of a special reason, i slowly learn how to love the course and tadahh am a third yr college now. I experienced a lotttt of failures haha but all you have to do is stand up every time you fall:)

I'll surely take that advice. At least medyo nasanay na rin naman ako sa pressure hehe. I took STEM strand since grade 7 din kasi. But I'm still anxious about taking that course because of high quota required during CETs. Super onti lang ng nakakapasok sa course nayan. Kaya I believe you really worked hard for it and you're also good in academics. And that's why I'll look up onto you and hope you all the best.

I think if you'll enter BU it's quite easier this time not too easy but compared from the past years, because chem eng has 3 blocks now. Before it's only one so only 40 students can enter, during our time we became 2 blocks then it became three for the succeeding yr. 2nd and 1st yrs are now 3 blocks. But yes you have to work hard to pass it but never forget to rest❤

Yeah. It's been bothering me because I feel like I wouldn't keep my promise if I will not post it asap. The volcano can be caused by the eruption of molten magma. They can turn into mountains. This is a very beautiful flower on top of the volcano

No. Sadly, I'm not able to. Medyo malayo din kasi place namin sa Mayon tas marami pang puno di kinakaya ng camera ng phone abutin, di masyadong visible hehe. Super lapit lang namin nung time ng pagcapture ko dito kay Mayon, kaya talagang kitang kita beauty niya haha.
