There are many disadvantages that can occur if we do not take good care of it such as the neck, neck or handlebar of the guitar is curved or even the guitar is porous due to moisture. This can make the guitar have a bad sound and even worse can make the guitar brittle. The following are tips and how to care for an acoustic guitar that you can do and practice at home so that your guitar can also last longer and always have a good sound.

Storing the guitar in a safe and comfortable position

We must store it in a convenient place, because we know acoustic guitars are easily damaged. So we should not store it carelessly. If you want to put it, you have to be really careful. We can also use a guitar stand as a tool to sit so that the guitar is not scratched and damaged. This guitar stand can also be used to display the guitar in the room or in a place that is safe from the reach of small children or pets such as cats or dogs.

If you don't want to hang the guitar, maybe you can buy or use a hard case, but it's very expensive, up to $30-$40. A guitar hard case can make the guitar comfortable because it has a hard outer shape and has a soft inside. So you can keep your favorite guitar safe.

Loosen your guitar strings

This is also very important for your guitar, loosening the guitar strings when not going to be used for a long time can reduce the risk of the guitar warping. Clean your guitar regularly

The glue on the guitar can peel off and damage the guitar. But if the guitar is too cold it will also make the guitar not loud because it produces a sound that is not loud or the guitar sound becomes heavy. Never leave the guitar in water for a long time. If exposed to water, immediately wipe with a soft cloth. This can reduce the risk of a guitar that is not loud.
