This is a part of suggestion to anyone who loves watching korean dramas and for newbies who wants to try watching kdramas. Some maybe old, some maybe new. This will be based on my very own interest depending on their genres. I hope you like it!

1. Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016)

ㅡ This was the first ever historical korean drama that I have watched. I never liked historical genre, I don't know why, maybe it sounds a bit boring to me back then. Anyway, the reason why I watched this is because of EXO's Byun Baekhyun and IU. The story talks about the girl who was transported back in Goryeo Dynasty. She wakes up to another body owned by Lady Hae Soo and was part of the princes of Wang family. Then, she got romantically involved to the princes and became also involved for the princes fight for the throne. The story produced a romance with a twist of drama and sacrifices.

2. Tunnel (2017)

ㅡ This is one of my favorites crimes and thriller genre korean drama. This talks about a detective who time travels whenever he runs with the killer through the tunnel. Detective Park Kwangho who was a detective in 1986 was investigating about the serial killings happening in their town. The killer was targeting women and leaving a strange dot marks on their ankles. He then stumbles with the suspect inside the tunnel and lost his consciousness. When he woke up, he realizes that he has time traveled 30 years forward. He tried everything to go back to his past to solve the mysterious incidents, but didn't succeed. Then, same thing happens in the current year which leads to Detective Kwangho to stay. This drama is really thrilling and mind-blowing. It will test your detective skills too.

3. Reply series: 1994, 1997, 1988

ㅡ To make this short, it does not only contain romance. It talks about the lifestyle and family of ordinary people. This will give you more inspirational motivations and ideas. Also, they will give you ideas about what happened during those years in South Korea. This is a must watch korean drama for me!

4. The world of the married (2020)

ㅡ This made a big success to South Korea and also internationally. This talks about the marriage of middle class couples. It was also said to be adopted from the BBC series: Doctor Foster. It tells about the husband having an affair with the daughter of well-known and wealthiest business man in their town. Every episode is very satisfying and it makes you want to watch more episodes as soon as it was released.

5. Hwayugi (2017 - 2018)

ㅡ Yes, Lee Seung Gi was the main actor in this drama and that's the first reason why I also watched this. For those who like rom-com fantasy genre, this is one of the great suggestion. This talks about the girl being bullied because of her ability to see ghosts. As she gets older, she Ogong who was known as the "monkey king". Ogong later found out about her abilities and they agreed to free Ogong from his prison. This is a bit scary because of the ghosts but you will surely enjoy this one!

6. Hi, bye Mama (2020)

ㅡ If you want something heartbreaking drama that talks about the love of the mother to her child, this is a great suggestion for you. This drama focuses more about friendship, love and family. It was about the mother died during her pregnancy because of a car accident, her husband was a doctor and remarried a girl who was their schoolmate after the incident. The baby survived and the mother follows her child everywhere as she became a ghost. The mother was willing to do everything to be with her daughter again, so the shaman gave her a chance by giving her a mission. I suggested this drama to my mom who was not really watching any korean dramas and to my surprised she liked this one.

7. Welcome to Waikiki (2018)

ㅡ This korean drama will give you laughter in every episodes. The stort started when Dong Gu, Jun Ki and Du Shik discovered a baby, Sol, in one of the rooms of their guesthouse. After looking for the mother, they decided to let the mother, Yuna, to stay in their guesthouse. This drama sees the main characters interact with each other as they share their lifestyle, love and dreams despite of embarrassing and unfortunate relatable events that happens in everyday lives.

8. Memorist (2020)

ㅡ Another detective and crimes korean drama. This tells about a detective named Dong Baek who has a special powers where he can read anyone's memories by just touching them. One of his case caused him to lose his memory.

9. Romantic Dr. Kim (S1 & S2)

ㅡ Just like historical dramas, I was not a fan of dramas that has more hospitals and doctors scenes not until I have watched these. It is a medical drama that talks about the growth of the newbies doctors with the help of the legendary doctor in their town, Dr. Kim. He always makes the impossible possible which made the doctors and even surgeons to become inspired and to idolized Dr. Kim more.

10. When the Camella Blooms

ㅡ Since I have a crush to Kang Haneul, I tried watching this plus it has a detective something genre too! This drama is about a single mother, Dong Baek who runs a bar-restaurant named Camella. Then, she met a police officer named Yong Shik who became deeply in love with her. Meanwhile, there was a sinister happening in their town and Dong Baek was the target of the main killer. Try this one, it might be about police or detectives but it also talks about family and romance and how Dong Bake handle every hard situation around her plus the insults from her neighbors.
