This wallets are showing up on twitter verified and non verified accounts and the owners are people such Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos (the duo just represent the most richest men on the planet), Barack Obama, Joe Biden (former President and Vice-president of the United States), Elon Musk CEO of Tesla, Kanye West, Kim West among many other influencers in the world. The total compromised accounts reached a number of 130.
The criminals who attacked this accounts, spreaded the fake giveaway among those profiles, with that could successful steal between 12 to 14.86 BTC worth at a time $130,000. The hackers to reach that intent had to coordinate a social engineering attack, directed to some Twitter employees who made the breach to be successful, with that confirming that twitter servers have serious problems, their cyber security team allowed 130 accounts to be compromised, controlled and spread fake giveaway with led to people lose money on the platform.
Well, they also had to learn how to flag a scam but who could even think that twitter could allow such breach?!
After the Twitter got the report that accounts were hacked and info compromised they took measures to protect more users to not fall on the giveaway also protect the legit owners, blocking them only restoring after several security checks on the meantime no wallet address could be displayed on twitter messages.
The coordinated attack on twitter was the most bad event happened on the social media that leaded hackers to control dozens of high profile accounts, and the CEO of the company may have to face an official enquiry where he will answer questions about the security of his platform.
Twitter host accounts for world politician leaders such Donald Trump, the U.S President and other influent global influencers and the event was just only to spread giveaways and gather some Bitcoins with that, that is what they want us to think and believe but they could also look for more info on those accounts, just look to the hacked accounts!!
Of course twitter will have some hard times explaining their security breach to the U.S Senate and also the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) have been reported that will investigate the issue.
But what that represent to the decentralized world of social media?!
Time to change, that is the word.
If social media network such Twitter could face beaches such that one where people from all the world have hosted social profiles, centralised social media aren't anymore secure, and is time to move on to blockchain and decentralized social apps.
If people start to move to dex applications where no customers info is secured on the website will for sure be secure to not have that kind of problems. I believe in decentralized world and in autonomous apps just need developers to built them up and give access to interested people to browse them.

But since the world saw a retrieve from YouTube onboard again Crypto content creators and Google also allow Metamask to be on playstore seems that development to have dex social media and stores aren't anymore being considered!
