Since the Twitter hack incident where more than 130 high profile attacked more voices are raising demanding more explanations about, and now the American Senate seems to get involved and will ask for more info directly to the social media CEO Jack Dorsey and their security team! The cybercriminals hijacked prominent figures accounts and spreaded fake giveaways on them and with that more than $130,000 worth on Bitcoin was successful stolen from their legit owners using that scheme.
The American Senate want answers about that and Josh Hawley was the first Senator calling for answers about the Wednesday 15 incident on twitter. He's not alone asking for possible cause of that, the Chairman for the Senate Committee on commerce, Science and transportation and James Comer, a Republican representant also seek for more update about the events happened on Twitter this week. More people could came to support this senators enquiries and take Jack Dorsey to face some hard times on auscultation!
I believe that the U.S Senators have the right to know what really happened on Wednesday, and with that evaluate if Twitter is secure to host High profile with them. The social network showed a big breach on their security system and that could cause even a situation of war, if one of those hackers had the U.S president account on Control could "even declared war to China, for example" causing panic in whole world in matters of seconds.
Luckily those hackers just was looking for some more than Bitcoin, that's for sure, and used Bitcoin to use it as cover to their intents, with more investigation that coul be released but I don't believe the public could have that final result.
Well only time will tell what those guys was in fact looking for, in the meantime stay in touch for more Cryptocurrency & Blockchain news!
