I was on my way home from college, sitting by a large window in an old train with a respirator on my face when I realized that there are some things I really like about this pandemic.
Don´t be fooled! I still think that the majority of things that came along with the pandemic are bad things... I mean all the death people, people losing their jobs, logistic problems (why toilet paper??), problems with delivering education and others... but for now I decided to focus on the positive side (at least from my perspective) because that´s what we should all do when things are going really bad, don´t you think? This way we can overcome anything!
Get seated comfortably, here it goes:
More hygiene
I´m no hygiene or cleaning freak (ask my boyfriend hehe, he´s tidying up our bedroom everytime because apparently there´s "so much mess", but I personally don´t see any :D) but I still wash my hands in the right situations - and that was almost good enough for this pandemic.
My habits didn´t changed drastically besides using a sanitizer when arriving home and in the places where it´s required and besides taking more attention to where I place my hands in public transportation.
Hovewer, from my humble observation, I think that more people generally realized how important is to be clean and to have some hygiene habits in their life. And also the people that already had the right habits started to be more thorough, including myself... and that´s good. :)
I can be hidden
This reason has a lot to do with my introverted personality.
We all started to wear masks for protection and even though it´s necessary, we all complain about it - too little oxygen = breathing trouble - yeah, I experience this too everytime, of course, but for me it has a bright side too.
When I´m not running up the hill or when I don´t need to wear the respirator for 8 hours straight, I´ve grown quite fond of it. When on train or even in class, I´m checking my phone almost every time (reading posts, articles etc.). Well, and I know my face is looking stupid when something makes me laugh or happy but the mask is keeping my face hidden! I can read smutty fanfictions and nobody will ever notice.
Oh and with the black mask on I feel like a spy haha. I like to be hidden.
People-avoiding
This goes along with the previous reason.
Did you ever experiences someone disrupting your personal space in a mall or in a bus, literally breathing on the back of your neck ?
I noticed that these situation reduced a lot since this pandemic started. People are getting more aware of their surroudings to not get infected and also not to break rules (2 metres dintance!), which makes sense, but I think it should be essential to know how to not disrupt anyone´s personal space in public. We needed pandemic for people to realize this and I see it as an inprovement.
(The most careless people will be careless still.)
Exploring online-learning
Even though many people got angry and frustrated because suddenly we all needed to switched to online-learning and even online-working, I think it´s a great improvement in general.
We have all the technology available to make it happen so why not to make use of it and make things easier for many students? (I´d reduce it to high school or university because younger kids didn´t do well with online learning beacause of their skills.)
I understand that some practical classes are imposible to manage in an online format but when the teacher is just talking to the class for an hour straight and there´s literally zero interaction demanded between the educator and the student...why can´t it be online?
I hope some officials will realize this and adjust the school system to be more to today´s standards in the places where it´s possible. I mean... I see the change already. My boyfriend is in his freshman year on university and some teachers provided them with links to already recorded lectures, so they can spend less time in school.
This is great! It has many positives! The teachers don´t need to repeat themselves, because it´s already pre-recorded (from last year), the students get an instant access to the image and text materials and they can also adjust the speed in case the teacher is being too fast. Tell me this is not much better?
Because this pandemic, we explored the possibilities of technology and platforms like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Skype. We learnt that it can be used more to connect us more and also to make some tasks easier and that´s a huge plus!

I hope this is not as controversial as I think hehe. Tell me your thoughts on this topics. I will read all of them as usual.
Oh, and my sponsors rock! Check them out if you have time :)
Take care ♥
Here in our place connection is the main problem so on-line learning is not the best option so, it is a combination of on line and modular learning called blended learning. For me the best learning is face to face, wherein there is interaction between students and teachers and students to students. With today's trend of learning many young children became shy, do not know how to deal with other people for they were confined in the four walls, glued in the gadget and just listen to their mentor.
