How I got my first kiss

This is the story of my Cousin Mary. She narrated this to us after her graduation. We both talk about our first kiss experiences and I find her story so interesting to share.

This was a story of her college days when one of her lecturers fell in love with her. She was a junior in college, she did a lot of crazy stuff just like so many other girls on campus. Some of these things are unimaginable and she isn’t proud of them. While some she is. It was through this she was able to get her perfect CGPA. What she isn't proud of when she was a junior student. According to her is how she got pushed by peer pressure. She was getting exhausted from the thoughts of school and was contemplating dropping out.

But she needs her degree a lot. Her parents and siblings had put a lot of pressure on her. The pressure is so much that she needed to just have good grades. Whenever she has the opportunity to remember her college life, often she blamed them for how this turns out to be. They constantly told her to get good grades in any way possible. They might have meant good for her. To put in several sleepless nights, not to socialise too much and instead do her school work. But that wasn't what she did, she appeals to the lecturers of each course.

College students are not allowed to have an intimate relationship with a professor to get a good grade. But this didn't stop her from trying, and it didn't stop her from working either. She led most of the lecturers on and flirt with them, but with no intention of taking things further. Thanks to her advances she got A's in every course she offered. She thought this was a pretty great way to get through college. That is until one of her teachers started to show a little extra attention than she cared to receive. During classes, he spent a long time helping her to understand the materials. Which was just him trying to have an excuse to be near her.

Also, he started touching her excessively, nothing erotic, just random touches on her arm, shoulders or leg. She tried to just ignore it and hope that he would get the message that she would not reciprocate. But he kept at it, he began calling her to stay back after classes. Even on days that they didn't have class, he would ask her to come to his office. It wasn't for anything erotic he would start talking about the most trivial things and asking for her opinion. She didn't understand why he kept wanting these meetings with her at least until he told her his mind.

They were in his office talking about nothing in particular. Mainly he was the one doing the talking. Suddenly, he grabbed her hand and told her "Mary I'm in love with you". Her jaw dropped, and she tried to speak, but words wouldn’t come out. The professor decided to take matters into his own hands. He grabbed her face started kissing her. She slapped his face and quickly tried to run away, but he grabbed her and begins to beg her not to leave and give him a chance. She squirmed out of his grip and bolted. After that, she dropped his course, since it's an elective course and never took a class with him again, because of her experience. She stopped taking advantage of lecturers for good grades again. Istead, she worked hard and studied to deserve her A(s).

There are other experiences she shared with me that I will be writing about subsequently. The lesson I got from this story was to always be myself in whatever I do, confiding in some people might give room to them taking advantage of you.
