For Benj , meeting Marites is the most beautiful day in his life. One of the beautiful lady in thier place with an adorable personality and a kind heart. Marites is every boys dream as she has the quality of a girl that can be showed upon the world. Benj didn't waste a time and he courted Marites. It was 1970's when it happened and yeah , the courting style back then was different like now. Benj went to the house of Marites to make some Harana and gave Marites a flowers and even to the daily household chores.
After a couple of months of courting, Marites already gave her sweetest yes to Benj and they are officially in relationship. Benj already introduced her to his parents and his parents like Marites that much. One of the reason why his mother like Marites is because they have the same passion in knitting.
They have the sweetest relationship and seems they are forever. Until an incident happened wherein the family of Marites needs to transfer thier residency and went to Manila. Since the technology is not that high that time. They choose to end the relationship and promise to each other that if they are really meant for each other , destiny will find a way.
A few years later. Benj turned 32 years old already and his parents told him to marry because he's not getting any younger. He was working in Manila that time and he focused his self on work a forget to have a love life until there's a lady who showed affection to him. Every morning the girl always hang out on the shop and always looking at him. One day his boss told him to court that girl because it seems that she has a crush on Benj.
He is not young anymore and he wants to have a family that's why he courted that girl and they became in relationship. The girl invited Benj to the province where the girl grew up and Benj agreed. When they are in the house of the girl he was shocked because the parents of the girl already planning for the wedding. He is not ready for that kind of happening but he can't do anything because the girl already surrender her virginity to him.
To make the story short , they got married and build a family. But it seems thier married life is not that happy like other family. He discovered the true color of the girl but he can't leave the girl anymore because they have kids. Benj works so hard but her wife didn't love fruit of his hardwork and she spend the money like there's no tomorrow.
28 years passed and that routine of the girl didn't change. There have a grandchildren already until he discovered something to the girl. He find out the his wife is meeting other guy and even give the money to the mistress. Benj children has thier support and never leave him and then the girl leave thier house.
One day , he was browsing his Facebook account and he saw a familiar name. It was Marites but with different surname. Upon checking he find out that it was her ex girlfriend back then. He send a friend request and then Marites accepted it and after how many years they see each other again virtually. Marites has a husband and children also and even have a grandchildren.
They always talk to each other everyday and even calling each other Mommy and Daddy but Benj didn't hide it to his children. Children of Benj saw the happiness in their fathers eyes and they didn't want to interrupt it.

It is not the first time that I witnessed this kind of love story because it really happened in real life. If you remember in Kapuso mo Jessica Soho , there's also a story like this. I feel so awkward when I saw Benj having a video call to her ex girlfriend but on the other side of my mind , they didn't do anything wrong. They only having a video call but the awkward feeling was when I heard them talking about thier past when they are still in relationship. Ahh. It's awkward for me to hear it
