Thank you October, hello November
Hello everyone, it's the first day of November, the time is flying like a bird, even if we want to hold on particular moment but, we need to let go of October and keep moving. What are the highlights in your life within last month?
October is the month when a lot of my friends and family have celebrated their birthday. Starting from October 1st which is my father's birthday, followed by my niece special day too. We are supposed to have a lot of serenade moments this month, but since we transfered a new place, we only attend a birthday serenade for once.
Maybe, not only me but for most of us are having a hard times and enjoyable moments as well. Here are some recent happening of my life thus October :
As I have said earlier, October is my father's birth month. We used to celebrate his special through in a simple dinner with our family. Many years that passed that we didn't celebrate birthdays together with my siblings, this month it became an intimate celebration, simple and enjoyable with our parents. He is already 62 years old, I'm glad that his still strong, even if he has a complain sometimes about arthritis but still able to work. Celebrating his special day, is one of the important happening last October, because life is the most precious thing that we should be grateful more than any other.
Aside from that, I am also thankful because I am still here in read. cash for almost two years. I can't imagine that I'm still keep going in writing, despite of different circumstances and delays. And with noise.app that launches this month, is such a great opportunity to all of us. Also, there's no other crypto currency that I've used to know but Bch, heheh. It became a great help for me, through my earnings in both platform I was able to pay some of our obligations and buy our basic needs everytime our budget was shortage.
Today is November 1, it's a holiday today, that's why I see a lot of posts pictures online, some of the families are going on a vacation with their family, like in beaches, farm, and in the provinces where they came from. During November 1&2, are the time where the people used to visit their relatives who are already deceased. But I will not visit my grandmother this time because we just remember her 1 year anniversary last month.
Before, when I was with her, every November 1st or 2,she used to prepare foods like "bibingka", it's her favorite, and she also bring it to the cemetery for her husband. Even though dead couldn't eat but, their families will offer them food or even alcohol drinks. Which is usually one of the Filipino tradition that is still existing in the present times.
Back to October
I'm not consistently active last month, due to some responsibilities in the family that I need to attained. I think the most highlight is when my daughter have slipped on the ground while she's playing, and she's crying in pain. And when I saw her hand, the bone in her arm was like shape into a curve. So, I was afraid, and confused what to do. I tied a cloth on it, and put some leaves of a herb. And now, she's fine, even if it's not totally healed, her hand was already back to shape.
Last Sunday, while we are riding our motorcycle st night, maybe at 6:30 pm, when we already reached the town proper. We are almost hit by a car, good thing is, the driver see us and he stop for. a while. But, if we came along with a reckless driver I don't know what will happen next.
Therefore, I can say, that October is very kind to us, despite of the negative thing s that had happened to our family, we still ended this month with a grateful heart.
Hello November
This month is also one of the very special moment of our life, it's our 18th year of marriage anniversary this coming 24, with grace. I can't imagine that time flies so quick, and now our two kids are already grown up. Actually, it's a double celebration because it's also my daughter's birth date on 24.We don't have a grand celebration, only a simple dinner, and get together.
So, guys, this is all for today, because I'm too sleepy while writing this post, because I have a sleepless night watching my son who has a fever last night. Maybe some of us here have already visit in the cemetery, as we have this kind of tradition my fellow Filipinos.
What are you cooking by the way? If I was in my parents house today, we gonna cooked "biko", or sweetened sticky rice, or better yet "bibingka", it's my late grandma's favorite food since then.
Whatever you do today guys, enjoy your day and time with the family.
