My version: different types of neighbors?

Not a copycat. Hehe, just want to follow the trends here on read.cash. I'm glad that some excellent writers always make a trend. I've read some articles here about neighbors , which is fun and it's so true in real life. Our neighbors have different attitudes and characters, maybe we like them or not still we will see them every day.

Here in our place, we have a few neighbors, mostly, the people here are classified according to their family. Which means like us, my closest neighbors are my siblings who also got married, my parents and my grandmother. And on the opposite side, we have another set of the family with five children that are already married also, their houses have formed a straight line and with the same style. Some of us here are Bisaya but some tribes live to adjust to our neighbors especially when they have different cultures in the family and norms.

Here are they ;

THE RELIGIOUS

They live in front of us on the other side of the road, I'm blessed with this family because they are singing and praising the Lord especially during Saturday with their prayer meeting, they also like to play Christian songs every morning. Even though they are known to be believers but still they are not perfect, there are some instances that we do have disagreements but what is good with it is that we settle it for a day and forgive each other. Maybe that's the advantage with neighbors who knows the Lord in their life.

THE DEAF

We have an old woman neighbor who lives alone, she will not eat corn grits but she wants rice. And her family will give her at least 2 kilos per week that's why she used to eat in different houses when she got hungry, sometimes in my house and my parent's house too and the rest of us. The neighborhood is happy to help her and let her eat. She can't provide for herself because she doesn't have work or any source of income and just receiving, pension of seniors from the local government. She's unable to write not read, and she belongs to a tribe of people, we don't know her name because her relatives won't reveal it, we don't know why. What's funny is don't know how to communicate with her, and I don't know also about sign languages.

THE SENSITIVE

Do you have a neighbor like this? When they hear something even a single word, you often misinterpret and are accused of being mean to them. And then you'll find out they will not look at you in the eye and walk in different directions when you are approaching, hehe. And note, it takes a year or two before they will be back to normal.Sa Bisaya pa, magtanum ug kawayan", in short, they will keep silent as long as they can but no explanation.

THE SMILING FACE

She's always smiling even if her child goes home with bruises, she's still had a happy face. She doesn't take things seriously but she always has ways to smile. She's known here and had a lot of friends, her house is most likely the favorite hang out of women here, where she served her food and drinks.

THE NEWLY TRANSFERRED

A few days ago we had a new neighbor who came from the other barangay and transferred here. Their family is somehow felt pitiful because she has many kids but she has a permanent life partner,(sorry for that word, I didn't know how to describe her). But despite her situation, she is often drunk and unable to take care of her children, that's why the kids are often hungry. The neighborhood wants to help her but we often heard them quarrel every day, that's why we keep our distance from them.

THE SILENT TYPE

The one who is just staying at home always, but not a friendly person, didn't even like to talk to anyone but just her family. I don't know what's the reason behind but she's just not willing to get to know others.

THE BARN

YES, there are a lot of barns here around us, full of goats, with different breeds, they are a good alarm clock every morning when they call their masters for feeding. Mee-mee-mee is the sound that wakes us up every morning. Mostly, the people here are raising goats for their livelihood.

THE SMALL BUSINESS VERY HOT(barbecue vendor)

This word used to describe the "barbecue business in our place", one of our neighbors had this every afternoon. We used to buy their food when we are lazy to cook and when we crave something spicy every afternoon.

THE FLOWER POTS(flower lovers)

Hehe, who loved flowers? My neighbors had a lot of flowers with different colors and a variety of flowers, especially bougainvillea here on the roadside which they put beside their houses, with different collections from small to the big one, from the regular one to the crawling plant.

I will not talk about the gossiper, the cheater, and the troublemaker, of course, they exist everywhere. People have different traits. If you lose control of yourself and patience, one day you will be blown up by anger.

The antidote to feeling hate for your neighbor is giving a highlight to their positive traits rather than the negative.

My message

We cannot control or choose whom our neighbors are but what I have learned, as long as we are a good neighbor it's all right. Keep everything in balance and be wise all the time, wise to the point of doing what is the proper way.

No one is an island, we are all created to be with people, let's just learn to " RELATE AND RESPECT" to anyone. If we don't like what they did, just keep silent and learn to reflect.

Neighbors are part of our life.

They are humans who have strengths and weaknesses we all do have it too.

I enjoy reading articles here, it's just like sweeter as the days goes by, the longer we engaged here, the better we can read and relate others life.
