"Honesty thoughts "
Hello dearest readers, another day have passed by, and I'm not active because of my obligation as mom, that I need to fulfill first. So I'm back now, to share our experience yesterday when we brought our daughter to the hospital. She's sick for two days, and have a high fever, and we had a sleepless nights. We have decided to get her check by the doctor so that we can buy medicine with the right dosage.
The doctor finds out that she has a "tonsillitis", that's why she's shivering in high temperature. I spend almost 1 thousand pesos for the checkup and medicines.
Here's the main story about the title:
If you have read my past article I have shared that I've found a phone on the road, and I have returned it to the owner. Which I talk about being honest and kind.
In our experience yesterday, was opposite. My husband gave me 300 pesos, in addition to my money for the payment of the prescribed medicines. After she gave me the cash, he proceed to the bank, to withdraw a small amount of cash for his fuel, because we are out of money already. But, he already had a cash in his bag, which is his income from installing digital boxes in our neighbors.
He have withdraw 300 pesos, for his fuel, then he go back to the drugstore where we have waited for him. But, I see his face so sad while his driving and he tells me that he lost 1 thousand pesos or $17.48.
He open his bag and check everything on it, and there was nothing. And he realized that when he pull out his ATM from his bag, the money was also taken away and he is sure that it falls on the ground. Of course, because it's Sunday, there are a lot of people that surrounds in the place.
He was very sad, because it's hard to earn money lately, he intentionally saved it for our daughters birthday next week. But, she just lost it for one second. We checked out the placed for a few times, but there was nothing in there.
His first reaction looks so disappointed, but later on he realized that we couldn't do anything about that, or we cannot mention anyone, so we need to leave in peace.
Here's a fact:
Not all people are honest. And if you are an honest person, you can't expect others to be honest as yours. That's the truth, some may say, that if they can found anything especially a cash, "they say it's a blessing". I don't think if they are right with that kind of principle.
But, in my life as a kid until now. My father always thought us to," not to owned anything if we are not the owner.
The world needs honesty. Who will not hide things that they've found or lie if they really knew the truth. The world is already full of lies ahead of us. Sometimes we cannot discern the truth behind every actions that people do. A lot of people need someone's kindness to survive.
An honest person is reliable. Trust is gained by someone who is honest. Can be a good steward in small or big things around. As an employee, his/her boss can leave the office without having a trouble mind in thinking what will happened when he comeback.
An honest person can gain respect from people. There's no need to ask for it. Once you have proven your honesty, everything will follow.
There maybe a lot of alibi's and reasons why did a person couldn't be honest. But, as for me, doing the right thing, should never be taken out from too much thinking. It can be done right away, especially when we knew who's owned the thing that we found. Or, if we received too much exchanged coins or amount of money from what we have purchased. We can returned it, immediately.
End statement :
Last week was a complete honesty lesson that I've learned. I'm grateful to experience those things.
Thank you all for reading.
Lagi q din pinapaalalahanan mga anak q na maging honest ksi wla ng maniniwala sau pag nalamang sinungaling ka. Mas mabuti pang masaktan sa katotohanan kesa masira sa kasinungalingan
