Celebrating International day through prayer

Hello everyone, it's hard to be consistent lately in creating article because of busyness doing a lot of things in real life. But, I'm glad that I can write tonight after a long day.

This Saturday, our day starts with rain, as we all know that there is a tropical depression that affect our country, it's called "Paeng". Despite of the weather I have to prepare early to attend our celebration with "International Day through prayer".

We have women who will represent in every continent, like Asia, Africa,Pacific, Latin America, Caribbean, and Europe. And I was assigned to represent Asia.

As we discussed every countries situations here are the highlights that most of the countries are having the problem with.

1. Climate change- not only in Asia but in the whole world, in every continent, are suffering from this situation. According to a farmer, this year the fruits cycle of yearly harvest was not being followed. Supposed to be the month of August, September and October the fruits have already produced lots of harvest. But recently, there was no fruit products here in the farm where we are living.

Another evident of the climate change are the recent calamities that everybody are experiencing. Like flood, earthquake and other natural disasters are the result of the big changes that this world have brought to us today.

So, let us all pray that the Almighty will gave us the perseverance against this kind of situation, and we will survive despite of the present situation.

1. War

We may be far from those countries that are in trouble, but the fact is, everybody is affected from this crisis. The people in that particular country are suffering the result of war. Mostly, women and children are the most affected even the elderly. They need to leaved from their household, and livelihood just to keep the self safe from threat.

We can ask the "Highest", for restoration and peace with every nation.

1. Gender-based violence

Both men and women have experience this kind of abuse everyday in the world. Women are being abused by their partners, or husband's by their wives, kids with their guardians or parents. This is one of the most rampant in the whole world. It includes being abused, sexual, mental and physical. Where mostly the person who can survive from this will experience a trauma or mental health problem. Some of the abusive way against children, like child trafficking.

We can asked with the "Almighty", to protect, everyone and will be free from deprivation and controller who abused their freedom.

1. Economic crisis

Who would say that they are not affected with this problem, no one. Each of us are in this together right now. Except for those who are born with inheritance in life. That is why, even if the WHO will say that, there are still viruses that exist in the world, the government cannot afford to lock down because they cannot feed everyone. And what can we do, this thing is beyond our control.

Let all our hearts speak to the Lord and for his mercy be upon us.

After the reports and updates, for me it's better that we are aware of what's happening in the world. Even if we can't solve it right away, but it will lead us to become responsible people and show sympathy or even extend help to those who are in need.

If we feel self pity because we are thinking that we suffered so much. The truth is, we are not suffering alone, there's so much more who are like a mother in labor nowadays who are groaning, in their hardships, and scarcity in life. It taught us, to be responsible enough and always be kind to anyone else.

Our activity lasts for six hours, but it was all worth it, because we learned a lot, and most of all, we offer our prayer and petition before God through prayer.
