Sometimes it isn't about the now, its can't be justified by what we experience now, overtime we have seen the importance of preparing against the future, now be stress ourselves but as surely as day and night routines to come in, we are surely going to see the long awaited day come through. Life in itself has been teaching us the importance of preparation, it has been the standard of operation right from when we were young till now that we are older. For example, while growing up we were mandated to go to schools and learn, for many of us like myself school wasn't so fun at first so I felt like I was being forced into it, little did I know that I was only being prepared for later.
Today the schools we went to aren't were we are anymore, most of us has left the four walls of the university or any form of higher learning and are currently facing life squarely. Now we see clearly that we are more equipped and have been prepared for what we are facing now. Back then the math teacher look like terror, however those calculations has at least increased our brain storming ability, which in turn has helped us navigate through some problems, by carefully calculating to the way out. Like I said, it's never about the now at times, now can be inconvenient so that tomorrow would be very convenient.
Maybe the school illustration is making someone feel like this issue of Preparation does not apply to him or her, no that's wrong. It applies to every single being on earth, there is a great call to prepare, both as an intentional act or as an unintentional act we all are called to prepare. The future they say is pregnant, not knowing what it holds for us or to us, however unlike a baby in which the gender can not be engineered to the sex they want, in real life setting the future can be conformed to the vision we want, and it all starts from an intentional preparation, prepare for what you envision, Preparation pushes it out from the drawing board into reality. Remember that even Jesus had to prepare well before he fully began his ministry at age 30.
On Sunday I met with a friend of mine who is currently doing well for himself, if you know what I mean. Financially and family wise he was making things happen, then I had to enquire of him after a few deep talks about his journey so far, then he hit on this same issue of Preparation, he kept on and it was clearly a well drafted plans, although still not up to the full plan yet but he's working on it and sure it beat the mark on the long run. Another thing the story drew my attention to is the fact that we need to be certain about what we want to go after, I mean fully sure then we can go go go. I guess many just want life to play out anyways while they flow, don't bother life is always playing out, but you can navigate through when you are certain on where you are heading to.
Towards the concluding times of his university, he had meant with a man, someone who had gone far down into the coperate world, indeed the man was one the graduating students would be okay to be like, fine car, well dressed, well honoured by lecturers, they all knew without a doubt he wasn't a joking with his time, he must be rich. Now in a meeting this man was invited to talk, as a way of enlightening the student on how to go about their career path, he had talked more on what to do best, he stated his mistakes as well as his good moves so people could make better choices and even be better than he was. Part of what the man adviced on was the things my dear friend took to heart and work towards.
Some of the courses he had to take were way past his budget and I was struck when he explained in detail the way he starved himself to gather up, even the long distance he walked just so the transportation money can be saved to help him eat slightly better. Today it all paid off. The same opportunities still exist outside, and for many of us, we can hop on it without a stress, we can survive through the process of Preparation and not starve, even if we don't have enough, yet we have a preferred alternative, the issue i guess is that we are not ready, not yet at least. However it's better we are ready on time so we can start preparing earlier.
Surely there is a tomorrow you wish for, everi one has dreams, something they hope for, you have yours as well as mine. Its not okay to relax and let life play while you just flow at any directions it blows you too, we can afford to be mediocre, it's too risky to be a mediocre, cause you never know what's is in it for the future, but with a concious planning, we can at least know this is were we are headed, in the worst case scenario this is where I should be and must have achieved. So it's a no to being mediocre and quit being lazy to plan for tomorrow, today has come already and we might not be happy with the way our today is, we can keep wishing but only a concious act to start preparing for tomorrow would bring the change we desire.
Its popularly echoed that "whoever fails to plan is indirectly planning to fail", this buttresses the point that its risky to not plan. Every man feeding his family now must have taken out time to learn the job he's using to get income, it's was a planning time, a time of preparation. Our mothers super powers in the kitchen at same time with us, shuffling multiple task at once didn't just start at marriage, its something they had to learn while they were still young, even you too, your current state is as a result of your past actions, even as a student, you wouldn't be in the current level if you didn't pass through the previous. Life is sounding it as clearly as possible, prepare guys, take a seat and plan. That tomorrow we want is worth planning for now.
Thanks For Reading.
That is why we can never really separate the past, present, and the future. What we are right now, is the product of our past doing.. but what we'll start to in our present will predict what the future would prepare for us.
