Ember Month Unfolded - New Month Joy

Its now more clear to me that the year is almost at its end, stepping into the new month wasn't the reminder, I mean I've stepped into many months already, but as soon as I realized we've gotten into the ember months I quickly recollected that we had 4 great months left from this September to October then following is November and Lastly December. One thing I know for sure is the year is almost closing and like every last minute timing its the best time to Put in more seriousness, the best time to be more intentional about getting that stuff done and actualized.

This months have no doubt made me realize a few points to note, I have realize that this months gives me some unusual feelings, feelings I don't usually get and some others I get but whenever it gets to this months it becomes more pronounced.

More Hunger For Money

Probably owing to the sense that December is around the corner and that means festivity calls already so people are more prone to start seeking for ways to get more money, seeking for ways to ensure that comes on or before the close of the year they should be able to cater for all what they plan to do. No doubt the expenses are always cumbersome so it's wiser the preparations starts now, however this strive for more income, for more money has it's negative impact on people and the world at large, which makes the ember month a month we all need to be more careful.

Call To Be More Careful

Its a time to be more careful because the world is a crazy place already and with that sense of urgency to get somethings done, there's no doubt people would be ready to do some crazy things, not minding who they affect of their way up. Growing up I've noticed how our prayers intensities have increased once it gets to this time of the year, cause you begin to see funny occurrences all around, it's almost like it's a extreme time of the year, no one truly stays in the middle, it's either you're so so happy or so so sad, cause everyone is putting in their best.

Sense Of Competition

Its a time for competition, remember how the close of a school session always brings about exams results where we know who has done better than others, as much as you try to feel good about it, you can't help but be pressured and tensed to hope you did better too, not really because of your angry parent but cause you want to be able to boast in front of your peers. Same goes with real life settings, towards the end timing like this months and the next 3 upfront we would be trying to ensure we have somethings to show at the end.

More trickish is the fact that no one needs to say anything, no one would call you up to say "hey mike how many cars did you buy this year" or "hey marry did you get married or engaged this year", or "hey Jane were you able to win major contracts this year" no one would necessarily do that, but then you'll know its a competition from the attitudes and pride you see all around, as much as you want to care less, you know you'll feel better when you have yours also to show. Well as long as we know we're doing our best then there's no need feeling bad or envying someone elses.

More Family Time

Now you can anticipate that family time out, when you get to spend more time with your family and just rewind, from now, it becoming more relaxing to think in a few months I'll be relaxing, the sense of family resting is truly a delight. Most of us has been away from home for a long time now, and the festivity time is the time to head back home to meet mummy and daddy and catch up with those memories you miss. For the married ones, it could either be getting the kids to see their grand parents, or it could be planning a vacation time out. One thing is certain, the September till December time sure makes us know that family time is soon coming.

More Gratitude To God Almighty

Wouldn't you too be more grateful, I mean do you know the number of people who couldn't make it to this month, but we all present here today are only living by Gods mercies and grace so we've got to be grateful. Everyday brings hope, no matter how bad things get as long as we have breathe in our bodies we sure can get better results, we sure can see turn things around to get a better result. Everyday we have to be grateful but this months are times that truly sends us a more serious feeling of gratitude. Over 8 months gone and 4 more to go, indeed we are grateful lord.

So congratulations everyone and happy new month to you all, the month of September is a blessed one having a lot of goodies in store for us. Let's stay hopeful and expectant of God's goodness being more evident in our lives. Stay strong guys, we would surely see the end of the year by Gods grace. Happy New Month.
