Where's the fish? That was my ludicrous question to myself when I uncovered the pan to take some snaps at the newly cooked dish for lunch. It was a 'paksiw na isda' (fish cooked in vinegar) with extra vegetables. I usually prefer a dish with some veggies for additional fiber. And I put into the recipe whatever available vegetable is in the pantry as long as it would not contradict the taste. By so doing, I avoid a thoughtless wasting of food. Wow! Nice plating! My favorite is milkfish cooked in vinegar, (paksiw na bangus)! But the common vegetables we mix are eggplant and bitter gourd. Can there also be beans, carrots, and water spinach? Thanks for sharing this nutritious dish, mate! I love it!
