Christmas staycation in Pampanga
Sharing with you our Christmas 2023 for Team Gomez...
It has been our tradition to stay in one house during Christmas.. dinner after the Midnight Mass.. then some games, gift giving, karaoke, a little drinking and then off to bed..
Morning comes, my brother will prepare breakfast, hotdog, longanisa, corned beef, dried fish, egg, tomatoes with salted egg, fried rice..
This year .. 4 grand kids added to team gomez .. our family is growing 😁
More than the presents, it is the presence of our loved ones that makes Christmas awesome ❤️

My grand daughter is my happy pills.. no side effects, just pure joy 🥰
I can say that this stage of being a granny brings back happy memories of me as a mother.. i see my son on my grand child.. many says that once you become a granny or poppy, the love for your grand child is double than your own child...
For me, since i am a granny now.. i think my love for my son is equal to the love i am giving to my grand daughter.. pure love and care ❤️

Yes, today is the 2nd birthday of my granddaughter .. my bungisngis(smiling) little one just like her mommy granny always smiling 😁
She is my alarm clock every morning, she always says to her daddy.. "call mommy granny" hahaha
I guess it is true.. having a grandchild is double bonus from God.. i am blessed .. truly blessed to have a good son and an awesome grand child..

I was chosen as one of the ninangs (Godmother) on thia wedding event.. i could not say no, since i am also his Godmother on his baptismal.. His mother is one of my bestfriends during college..

July 27-29.. as shown on my first and second picture, my little angel giving sunshine on my floody days.. my town were greatly hit by typhoon and monsoon rains.. leaving us with high waist flood..
July 30..3rd picture.. when the water sunsides a bit, i left my house and went to my son's place
July 31.. 4th picture, i did my annual physical exam l
Aug 1.. last picture ..i meet my friends from Batanes and tour them around and bring them back to the airport early morning Aug 2..
Just an update.. my place is still flooded..it's been 9days now.. and i am still staying at my son's place ..which is good coz i have time to bond with my granddaughter..
Always see the good even on bad situation..
Tomorrow Aug 4.. i will go home after work.. hopefully no more flood and time to clean up ...

Tokyo City tour
Hi everyone.. i am back.. 😁
I was on tour for the month of June.. i am sharing my day on Tokyo city tour for todays post 😁
My friend pick me up at the hotel around 9am .. then our first stop was Tokyo tower.. then we went to Meiji-jingu Shrine in Harajuku, then Sensoji Temple in Asakusa.. then waterbus cruise from Asakusa to Odaiba.. Odaiba to Tokyo Diver city..
Tokyo is a crowded city but there are still lots of parks and greens around it.. i enjoyed my tour that day with lots of walk.. train rides and of course the food 😁
I would definitely visit Japan again.. people were kind, although language barrier is a challenge.. i need to use google translate..
And their train system is very efficient.. although it was also challenge for me during my first two days of riding a train.. well i guess i just need to learn how to read with comprehension ..
Travelling is really an informal education.. you will learn a lot..

Mother's day
Being a mother is a blessing .. because i believe a mother's heart is the closest to God's heart.
I am blessed to have a son.. a good one.. i did not have a hard time raising him coz he is really a warm and kind person.. i have been a mother and father to him.. ( we also celebrate father's day hahaha me and my son)
I am not a single mom.. my marriage did not work out.. i still manage to raise my son with the help of my sister .. yes, he has many mother hehehe..
Me as a mother, i could be a friend (a bestfriend) i could be a monster mom hehe, i set bounderies, i set rules, i am not strict but i am firm ...😁

Last friday May 5, 2023 was the 88th birthday of our big boss... he is blessed and highly favored..
It was simple birthday celebration .. a dinner with families and friends and co-workers..
I am happy to be invited see some old colleagues which i haven't see for quite simetime..

My first beach for 2023.. we hit the road 9am and we reached our destination around 5:45pm ... traffic ate most of our time.. it should have been a 3-4hr drive only.. but since it was a long weekend, i think everyone is on the road for a short vacation..
Still grateful and thankful that we reached our destination safe..
Opps.. one more.. after an hour .. there was a power interruption hehehe.. it means no water too..😁
The more we enjoyed the evening.. the moon was so bright that night...

My holiday sunrise ..
This was last Friday.. a National holiday here in the Phils in celebration of Eid al Fitr of our Muslim brothers..
I woke up at 4am... and hit the road at 5am.. my itinerary at that time was to be in picnic ground before sunrise but then i did not expect a heavy traffic at that hour..
So i decided to just make a new itinerary... i saw the sunrise already, so i make an exit at Mexico Pampanga and went straight at The Lakeshore..a good place also to have a morning walk.. but i am already hungry, so i prepare my packed food hehe.. picnic time first hahaha
After eating.. start my walking .. 😁🚶♀️
Lesson... always have a plan B 😁 life is good.. all ways and always.. just apprecuate everything 🥰

Rainy day on a summer season 😁
Philippines has only two seasons.. summer and rainy season..
Summer season is between March to May
Rainy season is from June to August
The rest of the months is mixed of summer and rainy hahaha.. this is how weird our weather now here in the Philippines..
Good thing we dont have winter season here..
Philippines is still the best place for me to live 😊

5days long weekend...
I am used to go out daily for work or if i am not at work, i am somewhere out there hahaha but since it is a Holy Week holiday i opted to stay home..
Today is the last day of the long weekend.. i am done with house gen cleaning, my eyes need a rest from netflix, done with laundry too and ironing of clothes...
So, today i prepare something to eat for myself hehehe chicken roll and chicken sandwich spread..
Humm i can still cook hahaha...

Sharing my Holy Week
I did my Visita Igleasia on Holy Wednesday.. which i normally do on Maundy Thursday.. i did it on purpise because last year.. traffic consumed most of my time and hard to find a parking .. which means i could not focus more on my church visit .. plus the crowd..
So this year, i find it more solemn while doing my church visit.. less crowd and less traffic too..
Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Black Saturday i just stay home.. home alone actually.. i gave myself a good rest...
Tomorrow is Easter Sunday.. a celebration of the Risen Christ... a joyful celebration .. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Jesus for saving us from our sins..
Thank you Jesus for your mercies and faithfulness..
Thank you Jesus for your unconditional love..

April 1.. April Fools day...
But my day is not an April fools day 😁.. i am sharing my day before 12midnight strikes...
I left the house around 8am to go to Bataan, not my regular road trip .. it is a paid road trip... business and pleasure combined 😁
Then after my business in Bataan.. i stopped by at Robinsons Pampanga to watch John Wick chapter 4.. it's pure entertainment.. the story is almost the same as Chapter 2 and 3.. but the difference here in Chapter 4.. John Wick got his freedom ... the ending is up to you to read between the lines or beyond what you see... chapter 5??? Maybe 😁

I celebrated it by having a road trip to Minore Basilica of Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan.. it has been my annual pilgrimage to visit the church on my birthday..
After that, i had my late lunch at Ruperto's hotel and restaurant at Binalonan Pangasinan... then i continue my roadtrip to Baguio City... just to breath some fresh air at Camp John Hay.. just before sunset 🥰
I had my dinner at The Manor Hotel.. after dinner i drove back home... i came home before midnight.. just like cinderella 😁
