THE 'UPDATE' I've been avoiding the update button of coins.ph app until just a few hours ago when I visited the app where there was no way for me to escape it. I was welcomed with a short notif of an obligatory update before I could proceed to using the app again. Hence, I had to comply. So, I logged off in order that the new update would take place. And lo! The old BCH network wallet is gone and is currently replaced with another network. All future "BCH deposits can now only be done via the BSC network." This sounds promising for the BCH ecosystem according to the crypto literate people (except me. Lol). Is the old BCH network really gone? Could this mean that I should send all my future BCH earnings to this new BCH network? Or this is applicable to this app only? These are my little concerns. #bch #coinsphupdate

BANTAYOG Festival Hello, Noisey world! Mukhang bumalik na ang dating sigla dito, guys? Ano’ng meron? (It seems that the former enthusiasm is back in this platform already? What’s up, guys?) Well, it’s good to be back in here after a series of wandering elsewhere for some time. I’m just motivated by the new eagerness that I observed among you. Anyway, it’s the beginning of another month and just as a fitting occasion to restart anew. Moreover, I would like to share with you the festive mood that the residents of Camarines Norte have been celebrating with their month-long feast called the “Bantayog Festival.” It is a double annual celebration of the founding anniversary of the Camarines Norte as an independent province in conjunction with the commemoration of our national hero Dr. Jose Rízal and the local fallen heroes of the tragic Daet (capital of Camarines Norte) revolt in 1898 of April. In 1996 the locals eventually erected the first historic monument (Bantayog) in honor of Dr. José Rizal which thereby becomes the centerpiece and symbol of the said festivities. PORTA MARIAE What a lovely day. It was long and tiring yet fulfilling. I traveled to the city for some personal stuff. After which I had the chance to visit for the first time (since its inauguration in 2010) Porta Mariae (Marian Gate). This neoclassical memorial arch was built in commemoration of the 300 years devotion of the Bicolanos to Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia (Our Lady of Peñafrancia). It is located in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Naga City, Camarines Sur. BANANAS on a cold weather. I passed by this fruit stall at the market and was delighted to see a lot of bananas. So, I grabbed a huge hand of Lakatan banana that weighs more than two kilograms for $1.64 per kg. This perennial fruit is the most accessible in the Philippines besides its being known as a potassium-rich food. Some say 'no' to banana during cold weather for it exacerbates mucus production (when you have colds, cough, or flu) because of its histamine content. But the severity has not been determined yet since histamine is also present in other foods as well. Unless one is allergic to bananas that's the time to think twice about consuming one.
