PORTA MARIAE What a lovely day. It was long and tiring yet fulfilling. I traveled to the city for some personal stuff. After which I had the chance to visit for the first time (since its inauguration in 2010) Porta Mariae (Marian Gate). This neoclassical memorial arch was built in commemoration of the 300 years devotion of the Bicolanos to Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia (Our Lady of Peñafrancia). It is located in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Naga City, Camarines Sur.
