Beauty out of pain - Easter morals
Easter is a very significant event in the life of every Christian out there. It is even more significant than Christmas because of the great life lessons it talks about.
First it speaks about someone who loves. A God who cared so dearly even when h toe shouldn't have and we didn't give him the reason to. He loves us so much that he wanted to reconcile that father-son bond that existed between man and himself in the garden of Eden. He created us out of dust and gave them all that they ever wanted and needed. He gave them all the privileges that one could ever ask for like the right to meet and talk with him(oh so great) he gave power and authority to rule over everything and he also gave the one that we used to our own detriment; the power of choice. He had all the control and being the ever loving maker, his desire for us to make good decisions should made him force us to do what's right but no he didn't force his will on us. He gave us ability to choose thereby being pained when we make wrong moves. Despite all our flaws, he should've abandoned us and allow us pay for our wrongs but yet he's still the one who extends his hand of help and creates a solution if we accept it.
Moral lesson:
1. God is not forceful.
2. Don't bLe disappointed or go overboard when your love is not reciprocated. It started right from the beginning of creation.
3. A true leader serves and doesn't boss people around.
Secondly, even when Man changed his initial great plans and choosed to trade power, authority, and enjoyment to being a slave to suffering and pain, his love for us made him compassionate enough to release his one and only begotten son to the earth. God being a king of the heavens, the earth and the realms beneath practically walked through the paths of men. He came out of a woman's womb just like every other person in a place that wasn't even befitting for someone of his status. His birth was without class like a commoner! He should've choose to come into a royal house or maybe from a wealthy family that would give him more acceptance in the eyes of the people but he didn't. He was subjected under the control of same humans he created. Just imagine being at the top but for some reasons you find yourself at the buttom or working for someone who used to work for you. If you do, then you'd recognise the humiliation that comes with something like that. Some of us can't even do it but yet God who is the greatest of all had to go through that because of the love he has for us. He flipped the coin for our sakes. He was obedient to his earthly parents. He walked with them, did house chores just like every other person, he experienced lack living in a place that's meant for the poor;did menial jobs just to assist his family when he can just command wealth and all manners of food.
Moral lessons:
1. Love is compassion
2. Christ was humble - you must be humble to go far in life.
3. Laziness doesn't pay. One has to go out there and work inorder to get what you want.
4. The fact that you went through hardship or come from a poor background shouldn't define you or limit your chances of being the better person you want.
Thirdly, Christ laboured and worked for his needs as a carpenter until he was 32 years before he started his ministry/assignment on earth. He went around performing miracles healing the sick, preaching the gospel and breeching the gap that existed between sinners and salvation. He obeyed constituted authority and was of no sin but yet once again the people he created and intends to save wanted him dead. Despite all the help he was provided them. He was accused beaten and paraded like a criminal. I think the most painful thing that one can go through is false accusation. Being a God, he went through it all even when he had the power to kill them all his accusers in a blink of an eye. It was the price that he had to pay for us. He was hanged on a cross, with his clothes all shredded off and bruises all over his body. At a point he got tired of the suffering like every other person. He couldn't take the pain anymore and then he gave up the ghost and on the 3rd day he rose again giving us a new life away from sin and destruction. Hallelujah!!!
Moral lessons:
1. There's time for everything. One has to be prepared for the new position, task or greatness that is ahead of us..this is.preparedness can come in life challenges, pain etc.
2. God understands every situation we fine ourselves..he.went through them first hand.
3. He showed us that love is.sacrifice 4. No matter how we try to please people or have good intentions, we'll always have those that don't appreciate it.
5. No one can ever love you like he does.
6. He came, suffered and died to include you and I no matter the bad things we've done access to his kingdom.
Appreciate him today!
