Learn From Everybody Learning starts the day we are born. When a baby is born, it starts learning. First, it is the mouth that seeks food. Then, the eyes and ears start receiving visual and audio signals. Information continues to enter the human brain, get processed, and be stored for future use. That is how knowledge is acquired by all humans and many other non-human animals. The methods of animal learning involve complex neurological processing inside the physical body in association with a central processing unit called the brain. But, the architecture of animals' learning computers is much different from any modern computing device.

The Indian epic Mahabharata, the longest poem in the world, is scripted in Sanskrit "Slokas" consisting of two-sentence poetic pieces and has many exciting learning stories. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Mahabharata In ancient India, disciples of the Gurus or teachers used to take learning lessons by staying in the teacher's residence called "Guru Griha." In Mahabharata, there were learning sequences even before birth! Abhimanyu, son of Arjuna, learned to enter a circle of enemies or "Chakrabuha" inside his mother's womb! This might be a topic of research about pre-birth learning. Although I haven't searched the research literature, the subject seems to be quite fascinating to delve into.

Learning is a life-long process. Our entire life is a learning school comprising various experiments and experiences. Continual workshops are going, knowingly or unknowingly, that serve helpful new information about many diverse aspects of life on the planet. We may retire from active work at some age due to limited physical ability, but the mind is still active in acquiring new knowledge from around us. The mental ability to learn seems to live longer than our physical selves.

We can learn a new subject from anybody who has more knowledge than us. A small kid may teach you how to draw a bird with unorthodox techniques that most of us may term as childish. But, the child's method of doing something may give new insights that may not come to an adult's mind. I remember learning how to play a simple Linux game from my kid son, even if he was too novice to use a computer. Now, he taught me how to run Honegain to earn passive income from the terminal of a Linux computer. There is an advantage to learning from each other in our homes, schools, workplace, and other domain of human society. We must be open to learning from anybody who knows a subject better than we do.

A learner's mind should be open to accepting teaching lessons from anybody irrespective of age, gender, race, ethnicity, etc. A child doesn't care whether the caregiver is young or old, man or woman, dark or fair, beautiful or ugly, and so on. A child accepts all caress as a positive offering. But, an adult can accept positive giving with an open heart, at the same time, the adult intellect can reject evil lessons and offerings if any by an evil teacher! When your mind is like a child, it can help a lot in learning anything, be it reading, writing, dancing, swimming, etc. Accept learning as an enjoyment. Learning can give us immense joy that other earthly objects can't provide. Thus, opening our hearts to learn new knowledge is a must.
