The Children's Books For Adults - Volume 2.

Last we left you (CT) Christopher Thornton, Julie and their new friend Ronin were sitting on the snowy knoll recovering from the accident that had just taken place only moments ago.

Miraculously CT and Julie were okay and, a big “thank you” was given to Ronin for being there at just the right time. The three of them being in this moment at this time was no coincidence.

There was a bigger purpose for the trio at work here and they all knew it. The trio started spending more and more time together, learning one another, becoming the best of friends.

Most times the team would communicate without speaking, and if there were verbal communication going on it was Julie who was doing so. Julie was discovering that her ability to articulate truth and reveal falsehoods, if measured, would be off the charts.

Ronin in the meantime was spending his days on CT's property picking up cars, and old trucks to test his new strength. Ronin told CT and Julie he was strong and always has been. Ronin had never in his life been as strong as he was right then. Then without speaking any words Ronin thanked CT, and Julie and CT both smiled.

Another year had gone by for the trio before they would begin to find out how their gifts of extraordinary powers, strengths and abilities were going to be used. There were many questions during this time of discovery. Questions such as: who are we really? Where did we come from? Why are we here? What are we supposed to be doing? These questions needed to be answered so the trio came up with a plan.

CT would have to use his mind’s eye and The Blade to help the trio answer these daunting questions. CT thought he'd better use his powers on himself first, then Julie, and last Ronin to find out as much about their backgrounds and past as possible.

The trio agreed this would be a good idea as long as they could take the journey together as one mind. Something brought them together as one so this is exactly how they wanted to stay.

When Saturday night rolled around the trio decided to begin their journey. The journey would hopefully reveal to them what neither was completely sure of. Even though CT, Julie and Ronin had some memories of their past there were missing pieces to the puzzle.

Late that night the trio sat around the table out in the empty courtyard amongst the stars in the heavens to begin their journey. Even though earlier CT thought he would be first to start the journey of finding out their past, he asked who wants to go first.

So Ronin knowing the least about CT volunteered to go first. The table the trio sat around was easily sizable for them to join hands. CT put his hand out to the left, Julie grasped it. Julie put her hand out to her left and placed it in Ronin’s. Julie’s hand looked like a small child’s hand as it touched Ronin’s palm.

Ronin being as massive as he is gently held Julie's small hand with great care. Ronin reached to his left for CT's hand. Without speaking CT told Ronin I'm going to need to touch your mind’s eye in order to make the connection. Ronin leaned forward in order for CT to touch his mind’s eye with The Blade.

Now imagine this, Ronin stands over 7 feet tall and weighs unofficially somewhere around 500 pounds but seems to have virtually no body fat what so ever. It was as if he were carved from a giant slab of stone.

Ronin’s body almost looked as if he had been machined and encased in some type of armor but he was flesh and blood. Ronin’s weight is unofficial because in time of stress his weight increases exponentially.

Someone somewhere, Ronin believed in his mind, should have seen him as a child and there should be memories of his past. Even if these memories were locked deep within his subconscious.

CT thought there is no way a person of this size could go through life unnoticed. He reached out with The Blade to touch Ronin's forehead, and with CT's mind’s eye he said, where are you from?

For the second time of their experience a bolt of electricity push through Ronin's massive body only this time Ronin was able to hold himself upright as the windows to his mind began to open.

The images which came through the trio’s minds as they close their eyes were dark and shadowy. There was ambiguity behind every image because there was little meaning. For some reason there was only a sense of good coming from the images even though they were surrounded in darkness...
