Games, Radicalisation, and Gambling.

The 21st-century era has become so advanced and so creative that we tend to become opportunists at every point of our life. Like I always say every coin has two faces, it is the era where everything that seems lucrative to us can become dangerous in no time.
The evolution of the game into its very own gaming world has reached to point full of thrill and full of "Blue Poison." The word blue poison I used here is just a word that I come up with myself I made it basically from the mixture of blue light coming out of the screen and the poison it spreads through its pernicious influence. The game has an evolution like this- games with our neighbours and children from villages and it covered a wide range of fun, adventure, and at the same time the satisfaction, > games launched on phones (offline), > games launched to play (online) interacting with outside players across the globe, > games started out as a means for online betting i.e. gambling, > games now meant to propagandise and influence people and especially targeting youths.
This modern world has provided an opportunity to earn while you play games, and these e-sports or other global virtual players meet in some competition, being awarded millions of dollars for their achievement. And, these have in some way influenced many teens to play games as their hobby or make it the core of their interests which resulted in youths alienating themselves from going out and interacting with people and getting to know more about people's thoughts, and get to know their surrounding better.
But, let's keep these things aside, now we have started living in a society where we get to hear cases about kids exhausting their parents' debit card or credit card limit and in some extraneous cases killing their rivals or killing someone close who keeps on reminding them not to indulge so much in games. There also have been games that even terrorised people to commit suicide or do some horrifying things with themselves.
The gaming platform unites billions of people across the globe irrespective of their age group and sometimes the inexperienced are influenced by their superiors toward a particular ideology or agenda. And, I call them propagandists, these propagandists try to brainwash these new youths and pre-teens. No doubt teens are easily influenced by propagandists because they have the charms to influence and persuade people. Through these influencing, they get to spread their propaganda, and also these gaming platforms are used by radicals to spread radicalisation. The terror organisations too are now very much active and sometimes they copy the games' blueprint and launch their own versions. Sometimes, unacceptable images are put into the games for instance when they inserted the Christchurch attack images in a particular. Nowadays, games mostly have invoice chat or even if they do not there are invoice chatting platforms that people use while playing games and this is where the kids, pre-teens, teens, and new youths are most exploited and sometimes becomes the victim of a cyber attack or cyber bullying.
The gaming world has led to rising of another branch called "online betting". Normally, betting or gambling is illegal in many countries, these online gambling and betting are running without any hindrance in most of those countries. Gambling is considered unethical but when we try to get more into modern ethical philosophies we find that it is acceptable because it is meant for our self-interest and working towards self-interests is not unethical. But, on the other hand, this self-interest comes at the cost of many other acts, ruining other people's lives, leading to sundry crimes, illegal rackets, and torturing families of people who lost everything in a bet. And these are evidence to many of the unethical practices rising out of 'Gambling' or 'Betting.' And, so our constitution prohibits the legality of gambling. But, nowadays when we see these online betting cultures it can be seen as no different than normal gambling styles, anyway, gambling is gambling doesn't matter if it's online or offline.
Last but not least I would only like to mention that these online gaming platforms and these online betting platforms must be intervened by the governments of their respective countries and regulated in a way that they lead to the adoption of a more ethical and people-friendly online gaming world, and these invoice chatting platforms where we ensure the safety of our children and prevent them from being misled into the path which deviates from the nation's mainstream.
Thank you and have a beautiful night.
