Communication
Speaking and writing are the two primary methods of communication. We mostly express ourselves in these two way.
During writing this, I recollected that gestures are a different type of communication. Even while it isn't as obvious as the two before it, we may also communicate with people by using physical gestures.
Humans have known the value of communication from the dawn of time, which is why methods of communication have evolved.
Without communication, you can't explain yourself to someone else since we can't read minds or communicate ideas as messages (telepathy).
Communication is something we do every day. It happens through spoken words, sign language, gestures and a few other methods.
Ancient humans developed a written language which made it possible to pass ideas on to the next generations. As time went by, humans invented more advanced forms of communication like the telegraph and the telephone.
Importance of proper communication
People must communicate properly to avoid being misunderstood or misread because communication is so important.
The absence or breakdown of communication can result in serious issues, and it is likely the main source of conflicts in today's relationships as well as all other human interactions. Lack of effective communication can result in misunderstanding and calamity, such as a war between two nations.
Inaccurate information may have serious consequences and can result in adverse effects on one's health, relationships, and community.
The goal of effective communication is to exchange information that is both truthful and relevant to a situation being faced. Communication between two parties allows for clarification and understanding, which will ultimately lead to a more positive experience for all parties involved.
Communication also involves listening
Communication requires not only talking but listening as well. While speaking about a topic, if the listener does not pay attention or loses focus, then the speaker may believe his or her message was successfully communicated when in actuality it was not received or understood properly.
The speaker must also be aware of how his or her message is received and take into account any possible cultural implications that may affect whether his or her audience understands the message; therefore preventing misunderstandings.
Very important in business
Everyone should be able to communicate well. It's an excellent talent. The majority of businesses and professions place a high value on communication skills because, without them, it would be impossible to run a company, market your products, or persuade customers to buy your products or services.
Effective communication unite
Only effective communication has the capacity to unite us. People will understand you better when you have mastered the art of communication, and your relationships with them and your family will improve as a result.
Effective communication helps in problem-solving
It would be beneficial to you in life if you could define or describe your ideas. especially with addressing problems. How do you expect other people to help you when you're having a problem or issue and don't know how to convey it?
However, you'll see that the challenges may be addressed or resolved once you can identify or put words to your concerns. You'll save a lot of time if you can express yourself verbally or in writing.
As the adage goes, a problem shared is a problem half solved.
But from the picture above we can see that it is a problem that is clearly described or presented should be regarded as half solved.
