My name is Nicholas. I was a very brilliant student while I was in secondary school. At the completion of my SSCE with a brilliant result, I was offered a tuition-free scholarship throughout my education up till PhD level with immediate employment. My mother, who was a pepper grinder was so much excited at the news as she shed tears of Joy and prayed for me.
When I got admission into the university to study medicine, I performed well in my post UTME. My first year in school was very smooth as I didn't have a lot of friends to disturb me. As I got to my second year, I was already recognised by all students and lecturers when I topped my class. Everyone now came to me for one assistance or the other in their studies. I became their second lecturer. I had no free time again. I was always busy all the time.
One day, I had to run to my hostel in order to avoid being disturbed after my lectures. When I got to my door, I met a note in the front of the door. When I opened it, it was written in capital letters and in red ink. The letter said that I should leave one of my mates who I was helping with her academics. The writer said I should stay away from the lady. I guessed the writer was a guy and thought I had a relationship with this lady but I didn't have anything with her.
I went inside with a disturbed mind. Immediately, I had to turn back and look for this lady. Her name is Allyson. When I got to her, I told her the message I received and she told me that there will not be any problem that I need to seek for protection from another friend of hers whose name is Nelson. When we met with this friend, he told me that I needed to join a particular group in order to be free from this other guy that was threatening my life. I told him I would think about it. Another group also approached me to join their fellowship but I ignored them. I felt I didn't need God as everything was fine with me.
I received three messages that same week. I begged Allyson to give me some space but she kept telling me to join the group Nelson introduced me to. So, I had no other choice than to join the other group for protection. The meeting was scheduled for 10 p.m. and I got there. I never knew I was being initiated into a secret cult. The whole process lasted 30 minutes and we were taken back to our hostels. I wasn't the only one who was initiated that night. There were other ignorant students like me too.
The following morning, I looked for this guy who introduced me to the secret cult, Nelson. I expressed my displeasure and I told him I didn't like what he did to me but he told me that I had no choice if I wanted freedom from this other guy. And true to his word, I had freedom from the person who was threatening me but my academics began to suffer. We engaged in lots of crimes and partying. I lost focus. My H.O.D. called me one day to inquire about the reason for my backwardness. I could not give him a particular reason but he warned me to mind the kind of friends I keep.
My whole heart wanted to quit the secret cult but the covenant we made...

The sad story of my second semester result
Hello friends😍. How are you today? I guess you are happy and fine but I'm not. The reason is with my second semester result that was just released. I am very sad. I want to tell my story so that my friends in higher institutions can learn from my experience. It's a very sad experience.
Every focused student would set a standard of results he or she wants to graduate with at the end of the program. So did I. I already envisioned the kind of grade that I wanted to graduate with and I've been working towards it through God's help. During my second semester last year, there was this lecturer who was giving us tough time in the two courses he was lecturing us. Let me name him Mr Felix for clarity's sake.
First, we don't usually understand what he says in class and when we ask him to please repeat, you will not hear us. He would just come to class read the lecture notes and explain a bit. So, we accepted fate .
Later on, he gave us a list of about ten novels to buy. When we got to the bookshop to price the novles, the total amount for everything was nineteen thousand naira as my mates said. We begged this lecturer to help us to select five out of them but he refused. He said we should search the Internet. I got a few of them but not all. I told the lecturer and I thought he had understood not until we got to the examination and sew the question. Mr Felix set questions in all the novels and made all questions to be compulsory. It was real drama in the examination hall that day. I could not answer all but I did my best and left the rest for God to handle.
I also noticed that one of the titles of the novels that he wrote for us in class was not correct and that was the reason why we could not get it online. After the exam, I started praying seriously about the two courses in the hand of this lecturer. I prayed almost every day about it and my other courses. When the result was released, to my surprise, I got the exact grade I wanted in the two courses. I was very happy.
But I noticed another course that came out with a bad grade for me. I know instantly that it wasn't my total work that was recorded for me because this course was so simple that we all expected to have A. This lecturer was very friendly. He gave us A.O.C. and it came out exactly. We never expected the kind of results that some of us had. One of us even had carry-over.
We met with the Dean of school who happened to be the head of the exam body to explain the situation of things to him. This lecturer did not conduct any test. He didn't tell us to buy any handout neither did he take attendance. The end result of our complaints was that the Dean blamed us for not telling the lecturer to give us assignments or tests or to sell handout.
I was disheartened to hear this today. I never knew that we were the ones who ought to tell our lecturer to sell handout. Honestly, were all happy in my department that semester that the lecturer did not sell handout because we had spent a lot of money on typing and other materials. We never knew that we will suffer for it. But there was one of my lecturers in first semester who didn't even disturb us with buying handout, assignments or tests. We performed excellently well when the result was released.
LESSON
Make sure your lecturer gives you assignment and test.
Make sure he or she produces handout for you.

It's a new Friday. Today is the second Friday in this month and I want to appreciate everyone of us who greeted me on my birthday yesterday. So today is Friday. I woke up this morning around 4 a.m. and after I woke up, I plugged the electric cooker and as I was about to do that the electrical cooker developed fault and it didn't work. I did some magic to it and then it worked so it was around 4:56 and then the light went off around 10 minutes after 5. I was annoyed because I didn't want to use charcoal. That time was too early for them to take away the light just like that. That has been their usual way of giving us electricity for the past 4 or 5 months now. They will bring the light around 12 a.m. and take it off around 4:35 or even 6 at times. It has not been fair on us.
I just said my prayers and then I read my Bible. After that, I used the charcoal and then I finished cooking around 7 am. I prepared for school and I got to school around ten. When I got to school, I went straight to the library to charge my phone and to use the computer. When I got there, some 300 level students were using the computer so I had to excuse them. Although there were other computers, but I didn't want any disturbance so I left and then I went to one of the classes to charge.
After sometimes, around few minutes past eleven, I decided to go back to the library. By then, the 300 level students had already left the ICT centre and I went to submit one of my assignments to one of my juniors who will be having lecture tomorrow morning which is Saturday. After that, I went down to the library to do my work on Mavis beacon and then I left the place around seven minutes after 12 for fellowship. Fellowship is between 12 to 1 and they already started before I got there.
After the fellowship, I waited for all my Muslim coursemates to finish their own fellowship so that we will start the lecture. The lecturer has only come to teach us once since the semester started in July because he was always busy with official assignments. We were very few in school today. Some of my mates usually come to school on Friday but because our lecturer said he will be teaching us this afternoon, they decided not to come.
When it was few minutes after two, I saw my lecturer coming towards the school hall. I quickly went to meet him and he told us that he wanted to give us number and that one of the students had committed a crime was in the police station so he had to leave the school. Some of my mates were not happy because some of us came from far spending like two hundred naira or three hundred naira to the school. Later when we heard what actually happened, we had no choice but to relax. So, he gave us numbers and the number serve as a form of relief to us that we did not come to school in vain.
I called some of my mates to inform them not to bother to come to school. I decided to wait to write my article before I will be going home. I have some laundry to do at home and so I'll be leaving very soon. I also need to help my aunt with her hair. I'm eating some cookies now.

Moderation ll
Good afternoon friends. How are you doing today? My article on moderation started yesterday. It's essential to read the final part.
Finance
In spending, be moderate. Don't spend all the money you have with you all in the name of giving neither should you be stingy. Balance things up. Buy the things you need and not what you want. NEEDS ARE MORE ESSENTIAL THAN WANTS.
Don't say because I said you should spend less now begin to be stingy. You should buy necessary things for yourself and family. RELAX, life is not as hard as that. EAT moderately. It is important for your overall health. Don't eat to the extent that you'll become obese. Eat balanced diet.
Allow your mouth to rest too. Fast once in a while, at least once a week to allow your body system to function properly.
Education
In education too, you need to be moderate in the sense that when you want to acquire a certificate, acquire it in the right and legit way. Don't acquire it at all costs. If the education you want to acquire demands that you give something precious or to do some things that are not good that people must not hear about, don't do it. *GETTING CERTIFICATE IS NOT THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD.*
You can make it in life without certificates. We have many people out there today that don't even go to school yet, they are making hundresds of thousands daily. So, that is not the end of the world. Don't acquire education to the extent that you begin to do examination malpractices, cheats, sleep with lecturers, bribe lecturers and all other forms of bad practices. We need to be moderate. Read to acquire your certificate.
The last thing I would say on this point as I round off my article for today is that, get enough qualifications before marriage. The reason why I said this is that, as soon as you get married, family responsibilities set in. It is difficult to be schooling when your children are also in school.

Moderation
The word "moderation" is not a new word to most of us but for the sake of emphasis, moderation means; less extreme, medium in amount or intensity or quality. The rootword of "moderation" is "moderate".
For the sake of this article, *moderation is the state or quality of being moderate or avoidance of extremes* [Oxford dictionary].
When you want to have a bath and the weather is cold, you boil water. You do not use the hot water if you don't want to boil your skin. You need to add cold water to the hot water so that it will be neither cold nor hot but warm. This is what I am talking about in my article today.
Moderation is very essential to be observed in every area of our lives. The following are some of the areas of our lives that mrequire moderation; marriage, dressing eating, spending & education.
Marriage
In getting married, you need to be moderate. You must not be carefree neither should you be too extreme. What I mean by carefree is ignoring the red flags coming from the person you are about to get married to. Signs like being bossy, selfish, getting angry easily, beatings or threats. You must not ignore the signs but when I tell you not to ignore the signs that doesn't mean that you should then come up with attitudes that will make the other person to be angry and taking every action seriously. You must be moderate.
There are old ways of getting married. In the olden days, many people get married without knowing the person they want to marry very well. In those days, partners get to see each other once or twice in two weeks and in that kind of situation, there is no way they can know each other's character very well whether they are compatible or not. That kind of marriage usually have problems. It's an achaic way to get married. But today, we have the opportunity to know the person we want to marry very well but not to the extent of going the other way around. No fertility test before marriage.
Marry only one wife that you can take care of. Don't give birth to many children you won't be able to raise properly.
Dressing
In dressing, we must not be archaic. Being archaic means dressing like people of the fifteenth century. For example as a lady wearing some clothes that were won by our 90s and 80s women and men. Those kind of dressing in those days were okay but not nowadays. Dressing like wearing a blue blouse over a red skirt with a yellow scarf with a green footwear. That will be too weird. Anyone that sees you will think something is wrong with you upstairs. Or as a guy who wear a red top over purple trousers with blue face cap. Or wearing oversized and undersized clothes. That is odd.
Be moderate in the sense that don't be archaic and don't follow various trends in the world. There are some kinds of dressing that is in vogue now. Wearing tight and revealing clothes. I don't know how people feel comfortable in it. There is a kind of dressing that is trending now that the people look like mad men and women. *DRESS SMARTLY* including the way you style your hair both male and female. Don't copy bad examples. Don't make your hair like that people will say a mad man's hair is better than yours. **Be decent. Don't be too fashion conscious.**
Dream a dream
Good morning from here. How was your night? I believe you slept well. Oh, you had a dream? I hope it's a good dream. That's fine. We should dream dreams.
Joseph was a dreamer. He dreamt of good things that would happen to him in the future. This fact was not hidden to his brethren who referred to him as a dreamer. The parents even knew that he was having dreams of a great tomorrow. Joseph had great challenges on his way. He went through devastating situations that could destabilize him from following through to the realisation of his dreams. He however never gave in to any distraction but stuck to his dreams.
Have you ever had a dream before? If not why not. You must begin to dream of good things that will happen to you. Begin to dream dreams of success. The goals you set for progress must make you to be dreaming. Nobody really achieve success he is not dreaming.
The goal you set for your success is likened to a dream of what you want to achieve. It gives you the needed drive to work hard. You need to dream of great achievements if you really want to excel in life. Someone has said that you should shoot at the moon so that you will get down a star at least.
Dare to dream and pursue your goals to a logical end. Great achievers of old are great dreamers and goal setters. Start to dream dreams today. You will soon discover that your potentials to succeed in life are limitless and resident in you.

To achieve this level of health, it is required that you have a strong network of people you trust that you can turn to for support in tough times. It is also recommended that you do things that positively impact others. Practice self-discipline. Learn or discover new things. Enjoy the beauty of arts and nature. Strolling through a park or an art gallery reduces stress. Love freely, smile more often, trust sincerely and forgive all hurts.
*know your God*
The spiritual health is crucial to your to your overall well-being. When you are lost or unbalanced spiritually, distress, moodiness, and discontent with life will naturally ensue. Many people are unaware of the importance of spiritual health. Your spiritual health is very important to God and for your general well-being. Stay in tune with God and he will keep you strong for great exploits in life.
*Rest!*
God has designed the body in a way that during rest, the body that has been nourished with the right kind of food heals itself from the damages of all activities that cause stress to it. For maximum health therefore, you must develop a regular sleeping plan and stick to it. Before you go to bed at night, spend some time alone without indulging in any strenuous activities.
*Educate yourself !*
What you don't know will not help you. For maximum health, you must harm yourself with information regarding the rules of hygiene, nutrition and supplements, the efficacy of exercises and other valuable information related to living in every way of life.
*Age gracefully!*
Many people still see ageing as a threat to their sense of self-worth and quality-of-life. To age gracefully in a culture which idolizes youth requires strength and wisdom. It has been discovered that there are two basic requirements of graceful aging.
You have to accept the things you cannot change. Growing older also brings more loss. Not only is there loss of many aspects of being young, people we know die. This may be one of the difficult aspects of aging. If you haven't learnt to grieve earlier in life, the all important task of learning to live with loss must be learnt to avoid the psychological and health problems. As you make Christ, the giver of abundant Life your Savior and Lord, you will surely fulfill the number of your days in strength, vitality and all-around happiness.
Don't say everything you see 🤫😷🙊
Don't say everything you see. It is not everyone around you that is happy with your success. It is not everyone you make your friend that is truly a sincere friend. You must be very careful of what you say. You may have a dream or an aspiration. Do not tell anyone because you only see the faces of people and not their hearts. You do not know what they are planning against you. Be careful.
Sometimes, you may do some things that ought to bring praise from people but because of envy they will criticize you. Do not share your dreams with people so that they will not plot evil against you.
There was a teenager of seventeen years that had a dream of becoming greater than his older siblings including his parents. He had a dream the first time and he narrated it to his siblings. He dreamt that he became great and that his parents and older siblings bowed down before him. They began to hate him so much. He had the dream the second time and shared it before his siblings and parents. His father rebuked him to keep quiet.
This eventually brought more trouble for him. There was a day that his siblings went out to feed their animals. His father called him to go and give them food. The boy joyfully took the food to them. He got near where they were. As soon as they saw him, they plotted to kill him so that the dream he had will not come to pass. This young boy was innocent of their plans and immediately he gave the food to his siblings, they caught him and were about to kill him when one of them said they should throw him in a well instead.
They later sold him to another land and lied to their father that a dangerous animal had eaten him. It was because he had God on his side that was why they didn't kill him. If you don't have God with you, it will be disastrous. But if God is for you, no one can be against you.
The world is no longer is safe place for friendship. It is not everyone that laughs with you that is truly happy with you. This world lies in wickedness. Let us be wise. Make sure that God is with you. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers us from them all psalm 34:17. When you set God's Love in your heart, He will set you on high. Be prayerful and keep his word in your heart because he that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the Shadow of the almighty.

How to train a child successfully
Rosalyn stared at her first son outside the living room. Jackson was her first son. He had grown up to be a handsome and hard-working young man whom many people have been blessed through his work. His faith in God's power to heal in his medical practice had made many people to believe in God. He was now a successful man married with four children.
Rosalyn thought of all her labour while training Jackson up. It was not easy at all. He was already a teenager when he began to demonstrate negative traits. He began to drink and move about with gangsters who were drug addicts. She cried many times, she prayed for him counseling in love. She didn't hate Jackson because of his bad attitudes rather, she allowed the grace of God to help her to love him. It was not an easy journey at all. How did she end up having a successful son today?
Raising godly children cannot be done outside of God. Remember, children are the heritage of the Lord. God owns our children by creation. He has given children to parents to be caretakers and so we need to understand the place of God in their lives. Whenever they begin to go wayward, we cry to God who will stabilize their life and make our efforts fruitful.
Another thing that helped Rosalyn into successful parenting is teaching. Some parents think that some things should not be taught the children. What then should you teach your child? Primarily, it is the word of God. Besides what our children will be taught in school or church, you must engrave God's word on the mind of your child.
It is not only the word of God that you have to teach them, teach them the realities of Life. Teach them everything they need to know about life, health issues, relationships career and so on. Teach them before the world misleads them.
Additionally, exemplary living helps in successful parenting. Children of nowadays will not only listen to what you say, they want you to also practice it. Whatever you want your children to be, your words must correspond with your actions. You cannot teach your children to be obedient when you also break rules or tell lies.
You also need to spend more time with your children. Listen to whatever they have to say and don't be dramatic about it. Be patient with them. Love them more and pray for them at all times. Don't be discouraged because of their attitudes. Once you have done everything you are supposed to do, just keep praying to the One who created them and your children will for ever be a source of joy to you and you will have a fulfilling old age.

How I saved my salty food
Hello 🙋. How are you doing today? It's a beautiful and cold morning here. How is yours too? I believe you slept soundly and had sweet dreams.
My alarm rang at 4:30am but I slept a little more. I prayed and began to cook.
Has all your cooking been perfect? Have you ever had a watery food? Have you ever had a salty food? How did you save it? Or did you eat it that way?
I decided to cook rice this morning. I fried all my ingredients and added water before the rice. As the rice began to boil, I discovered that the food was salty. I began to think of what I would do to remedy the situation. Then I remembered that there was a tuber of yam at home. I quickly cut two slices and chopped it into small pieces of square shape. I washed it and put it inside the rice.
I was just praying that what I did would work. To my surprise, when I served the food for everyone, no body complained about the food being salty. I was very happy. If not for the fact that I'm fasting today, I would have told you how tasty the food is.

My journey from FTF2022
The hallelujah night was powerful. We prayed, sang and danced. The praise team was mightily used of God to bless us with songs. We ended the hallelujah night around 1:30am. Books were given to all participants. I would have uploaded the picture of my copy of the book but I'm in school now and the book is at home.
I went back to our hostel to rest till morning. I sat on my bed and sang songs of praises to God because I believe that He has answered all my requests. I slept close to 4am and I woke up few minutes to 7am. I was surprised to see that most of the occupants of my hostel had left. It was Sunday so, everyone was going to church. I dresses up and packed my things. I sat on my bed waiting to leave by 7:30am.
While waiting, I was privileged to to have a brief chat with one of the members of Evom World Network. She started with the ministry as a young lady and got married there too. I realized that her hometown is very close to mine and we speak the same dialect but she lives in Lagos.
I left Eyenkorin straight to Offa garage. I didn't wait at the garage as I didn't want to be packed like a fish. I walked far away from them and stood by the roadside. I waited for more than thirty minutes without getting any vehicle. I decided to walk a little further. As I moved further, I realised that I was standing between two garages. I continued walking till I met a woman and her son going to the same destination I was going. We waited for some time again before we got a small car.
The vehicle broke down at Oke ode. The gear was no longer functioning. We were there for more than 30minutes unable to get another vehicle. I was eventually able to get a bus that conveyed my to my destination. I got home but there was no one at home as they had all gone to church. They arrived not long later and we rejoiced.

My journey to FTF 2022
Hello 🙋 writers and readers in the house. How are you doing today? I've missed writing yesterday. It isn't intentional. I went for ftf and there was no network at all to even log in to Facebook. It was so bad. I was just praying that God will compensate me for what I should have gotten here in the past few days because what I went for was to get intimacy with Him.
I traveled on Friday to ilorin, Nigeria to attend FTF2022 organised by Evom World Network. You might be wondering what FTF means.
You get it now. I've been longing to go to this conference for a long time. Evom is a popular movie making ministry in Nigeria. The president of the ministry is bro Shola Agboola. My school resumed on 15th and I decided I will be resuming on 18th.
Let me tell you about the journey. I left for the motor park 13:57. I was very eager to see those I watched in movies in real life. I boarded a bus straight to Ilorin. The bus driver said he would stop at Offa garage and I was going to Eyenkorin. The journey was not too comfortable for me. I sat beside two fat women while I was just my small size. Another fat woman joined us on the way and we were now four on the seat. It was not easy at all. It was as if I was like a fish packed inside carton.
Along the way, the other two women alighted. It was more comfortable now remaining just two of us on the seat. My two bags also took their seats beside me. But along the way again, be became four on the seat till we got to Ilorin. .
I alighted at Offa garage and crossed to the other side of the road. I bought Coca-Cola drink and fish pie because I only had breakfast in the morning at 8 a.m. We got to Ilorin at 3:25 p.m. I boarded a taxi going to Geri Alimi. After that, I boarded a tricycle to my destination. I got there few minutes after 4. I went to the registration unit and paid the registration fee.
I was allocated to stay in LOVE hostel. I got there and I chose the available comfortable bunk as other bunks were occupied already. The program began by 6 p.m. and it was a refreshing time I spent in God's presence. I was also happy to see some special people face-to-face and some with close contact. There is someone I'm very close to on Facebook. I saw him there and I went to greet him. He didn't recognise him at first but when I mentioned my surname, he remembered my first name. He greeted me and was so happy to see me.

The king's friend
You ought to see this boy in school. He is something else! Shall we call him David? Ah! So you know him too. He grew up in the most forgotten village in the Kingdom. But above all, David knew when to talk and when not to talk. He knew what to say and what not to say. David was not given to too much talking. But when he talks, his words are very weighty. Now, listen. Must you say all you know on every matter? Must you sing the dirty song? Making yourself cheap will not endear you to the King of kings. Even earthly kings will soon do away with you when they get to know you are a person of low morals.
Do you want to reach the top? Do you want to be a friend of the King? Then do the following:
Cultivate godly virtues
Even in normal interaction with people, we often cherish individuals who have godly virtues. How much more the King of kings. He makes friends with people that have godly virtues. Therefore, cultivate godly virtues.
Speak words that edify
Don't speak insulting words to people even if they have offended you. Some people speak words that another person will hear and think of committing suicide. That's not good at all. It will not endear you to the King.
Attract godly people around you
Move with godly people. It will do you a whole lot of good. Moving with ungodly people will also make you ungodly as evil communication corrupts good manners. Your godly attribute will attract godly people to you.
Develop productive skills to keep you creatively engaged
It is a known phenomenon that the devil finds work for idle hands. Develop yourself with creative skills. Don't be idle. The King will not make an idle person His friend.
Cherish your relationship with God
Your relationship with God is the best relationship you can ever have in life. Cherish it very well.
Keep yourself pure
Keep yourself pure. It's very important because the King will not make friends with defiled people.
Whoever cannot increase you will eventually decrease you.

Hello 🙋! I'm back. Let's continue with our health tips.
4. Eat that frog
'Eat that frog' is the title of a motivational book written by Brian Tracy. Though frogs are not likely our idea of a delicious meal, Brain says if they are essential for our health, then we better eat them without much ado. Is eating certain foods like that for you? Do you like eating breakfast? Eating breakfast when you are not fasting is a pillar of healthy living. Breakfast gives you the energy you require to face the day as well as some of the vitamins and minerals you need for good health.
Some people skip breakfast since they feel it will help them to lose weight a bit but merely skipping meals does not help you lose weight. Research shows that having breakfast can actually help you control weight. It prevents you from eating junks that will add to your weight.
5. Cook it right!
The following cooking strategies can help maintain and in some cases improve nutritional values of your dishes. (i) Avoid cooking at high temperatures and cooking for long periods of time extended. It can destroy or leach out valuable nutrients . (ii) keep open flame grilling of meats to a minimum as this practice produces cancer-promoting compounds. (iii) Avoid frying your food for reasons already discussed above. (iv) Steam instead of boiling as this helps retain food flavours. (v) Avoid using taste enhancers that contain monosodium. (vi) Make your own seasonings. For instance, you could pound together the following and used as seasonings: garlic, parsley, curry leaves, ginger sea salt and crayfish. Try it- the taste is super. (vii) If you must eat chicken, skin it before cooking. (viii) Use raw, unrefined salt instead of the refined table salt and, please, cut your salt intake.
6. Move around!
You could eat well but if you do not exercise your body, you may still have a number of health challenges to contend with. Experts recommend that you do 20-30 minutes of aerobic activities three or more times a week and more activities. There are some simple ways to move your body. These include but not limited to: (1) adding a little more activity to your life; (2) playing games with your family (4) Taking a walk. (5) Doing more household chores.
7. Fast now and then!
Yes, you got it right 👍- you sometimes need to abstain from food. Take a moment to think of a machine that has been working 24/7 for the past 20 to 50 years or more non-stop. Incredible isn't it? What do you think could happen to it? You will agree with me that sooner than later, it will pack up. Now, this is the Outlook for the digestive organs of most of us. We keep eating and never giving our digestive organs a break.
Additionally, fasting has great spiritual benefits. You can start with a three-day juice fast then graduate to a water only fast once in a quarter or so.

Health is wealth
Being alive and fully living (as opposed to managing to go through each day) does not happen by chance or daily positive confessions of 'sickness is not my portion in Jesus name!' -while continuing in health damaging practices. It takes diligent efforts on our part.
To have bodies that will enable us live healthy and fulfilled lives, certain pillars of health must be in place. These include:
1. Go raw!
Going raw, here, mean eating more raw foods and less cooked foods. Why go raw? Scientists have firmly established that food is severely damaged and degraded by the cooking process. To be fair, anytime you process a food, including the freezing and drying process, there are similar loss. This shows us why raw fruits and vegetables are superior to any sort of processed version of them.
Nutrients can also be washed off foods by the fluids introduced during the cooking process. Boiling a potato for instance, will cause most of it's B and C vitamins to be carried off in the water. Some people argue that these vitamins can be recovered if you drink the water, but how useable the vitamins are to the body after they have boiled in water for several minutes is debatable.
2. Juice up your nutrition!
Juicing is an easy way to provide yourself with a high quality nutrition. By juicing, you provide your body with the nutrients from freshsqueezed vegetables and fruits. There are three main reasons why juicing is so beneficial. Firstly, the juice hardly requires much digestion. Secondly, when you juice, you use more fruits and vegetables than you could actually eat. Thirdly, juicing helps in liver detoxification (purging of poisonous substances from the body).
Please note that juicing here refers to free home-made juices and not the so-called misleading"100%real fruit" on the supermarket shelves. Do not add any sweeteners to your juice and try to take them within 20-30minutes after juicing them before they start losing their nutrients.
3. Water your life!
Water makes up 70-75% of the body of the average human being. And it is the most essential even, next to air, to our survival. A person can survive for up to four weeks without food but no longer than 3 days without water because it performs many different functions in the body. It forms the bulk of blood and tissue fluid and is therefore essential for transporting nutrients, hormones and waste products around the body.
Everyday we lose water through breathing, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, therefore, we must replenish its water supply by drinking adequate quantity of water and consuming food that contains water. The American institute of medicine advices that men consume about 13cups of water a day and women consume about 9cups of water a day.
You may however need to modify your total fluid intake depending on how active you are, the climate you live in, your health status and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Silence is a great virtue but sadly, one of the most disregarded by many. It is the ability or rather the grace to be still, calm, quiet or at peace within and without oneself. It is advisable to maintain silence when there is nothing positive or constructive to say. This will save you for making irrelevant, lying, proud, gossipy and critical remarks as well as their consequences.
More importantly, however, conscious silence is crucial at certain moments, especially:
*When you are provoked*
Words uttered in anger can wreck unimaginable havoc in the lives of those at the receiving end, as well as your own life. Your displeasure at somebody and make you speak recklessly. So, when under provocation, it is best to keep silent until you can talk to the person without any feeling of anger. The saying is true that if you can hold your tongue in one moment of anger, you will spare yourself many years of sorrows and regrets.
*When you are faced with frustrating situations*
Times of adversity and anxiety provide ample atmosphere for the evil seeds of unbelief and negative confessions to sprout. Trouble however is that the aftermath of such negative pronouncements can be really devastating, if not irreversible. You will therefore do yourself a whole lot of good by choosing to be silent when overwhelmed by life's challenges. In quietness is your strength and assurance forever. Rather than verbalizing every thought that Satan tries to whisper to you, learn to wait on the lord and your mountainous problems and stagnations in life will give way.
*When you are confused*
When you are confused about an issue, in business or at home, it is best to keep silent and spend quality time in reflection before expressing an opinion.
*When you are being tried for your Faith*
You must be persecuted for your faith if you are truly a child of God. However, you will gain more by silence and patience than by protests and complaints. As Philip Brooks affirms, "the man who lives right and is right has more power in his silence than another has by his words"
In essence, there is unassailable dignity in silence. It teaches you to be a better listener to others and their inner thoughts. It is in silence that you find and understand your inner self. Besides, silence helps to curtail too much talking.
You can pray today for wisdom to refrain your tongue when you should and henceforth begin to enjoy the numerous blessings that come with this noble virtue.

It's a brand new day here. How are you doing? I believe you're doing great.
There was a woman who was in a hot argument with her husband in the presence of their two kids. The kids were crying. Both husband and wife were insulting each other. The husband was threatening and the argument got to the point that the wife said she will take her two children to their real father and he would realise how measurable and empty he is.
That was a bomb blast. How would you feel if your partner should say this to you? What would you have done?
The following morning, the husband left the house for his place of work without dropping the kids off at school as usual. He refused to eat the wife's food and was hostile to the children. The wife later apologized and said she didn't mean those words and that she only wanted to hurt him back.
But the deed had been done already. There was no need crying over spilt milk. The husband wanted to file for a divorce but the lawyer he contacted persuaded him not to do so. Instead, the lawyer advised him to go for a DNA test. He agreed and took the two children for a test.
Something happened along the line that made the husband to believe that he was the owner of his children. When the result was eventually sent to him by email, it confirmed that he was the owner of the kids.
If the wife has not said those words in the fit of anger, she wouldn't have gone through all that stress.
Lesson:
When you are angry, you should not speak. And if you must speak, you should weigh our words on the scale of God's word.
Watch your actions. Watch your tongue. Weigh your words before you speak.
Watch what you say

The mouth is no doubt a very important part of the human body. In it lies a powerful organ of great influence over the whole body- the tongue. The tongue is one small organ that never gets tired till death. It has never been transplanted and there has never been an artificial version of it. It is a tool of both the mind and heart in human communication. The words we speak are vehicles through which we communicate our thoughts and the tongue is the driver that takes us to our destiny.
*For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks*
The manner in which the tongue is used has serious implications on the physical, psychological and spiritual well-being of every human. What comes out of your mouth from day to day affects your whole life and determined your destiny.
The tongue, though a little member of the body, has the potential to build up or tear apart. You must take note of the following:
Watch what you say when you do not have full details or perception on a matter - either when making remarks about people and when listening to others' comment about another person.
Watch that you do not say unkind words that can even make someone think of terminating his or her life .
Watch that what you say does not create conflict among friends.
Watch that what you say is not falsehood. Speak the truth always.
Watch against words of pride, arrogance or vainglory.
Watch against critical, judgmental, hasty and uncomplimentary statements about others.
A wise believer knows what to say and what not to say in any given situation. So rule over your words. Even when you think you have all the facts about the matter on another person, watch what you say. Talkativeness is a canker. Keep your mouth with all diligence and you will keep your life.
*Talk less and pray more!*
You must also learn to keep away from busybodies and this include anyone who tries to start an unedifying conversation about another person. If for whatever reason you cannot completely avoid the company of such then, study to be quiet and do your own business.
Be watchful also to avoid saying negative things to:
**Your children**
The things you speak into their lives matter much. So, be mindful to bless them always.
***Your husband***
You may get too familiar and forget that he is the head over you. Be careful not to incur God's wrath or break your home as a result of what you say to him.
*Your wife*
She is your own flesh. Ensure that you do not to bring a curse upon your own head by cursing her.
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life.

The scripture is the word of God. The scripture is inspired by God. God inspired Moses to write the first five books of the Bible. What they wrote was not their own scientific knowledge but it was the mind of God. It is the only book in the world that speaks of the past, present and gives hope for the future.
As a Christian who wants to rxcel in this world and meet with God, we need to get close to the scriptures. We should read, meditate (study), to the point that if anyone speaks about anything, we would be able to recollect quickly. Matthew 22:29, 4 verse 3 and Proverbs 22 verse 23
We go into errors and mistakes when we don't know the scriptures. The word of God says even the elect will be deceived. Even devils came to tempt Christ. Who are we? We are His disciples. But the knowledge of God's word that Jesus had was what He used to overcome. This shows that we should know the scriptures and keep it in our heart.
We cannot see the devil. We can only identify his manifestations. After he was sent from heaven, he sought for bodies to dwell. That is why some people say we have 'akudaya'. It is Satan that dwells in those bodies to manifest power.
Buy the truth and sell it not. Whatever it might cost you to buy the Bible, buy it no matter how expensive because it is your life. Use your money to buy something of eternal value.

Hello 🙋 Happy Sunday friends.
Quitting and leaving a child to himself is very dangerous. Samson's parents left him to himself. They refused to be firm with him. It even got to a point where he could tell his parents categorically, "Get her for me!" and they yeilded. Time and time again they were at the mercy of his whims and tantrums. The outcome was disastrous. Samson lost the power and calling of God. He lost God's anointing. And though he repented at the tail end, his ministry was truncated. He died prematurely.
Knowing fully well that leaving children to themselves for whatever reason could have very grave consequences for us and for our children, it is expected of us as parents to resolve to do whatever it takes to be joyful winners and not sorrowful losers in the task of parenting. However challenging it might be, we cannot afford to let Satan or the world have the upper hand in the lives and destiny of our children. Therefore, we must begin the journey to successful parenting by taking a closer look at our lives and our methods.
Below is a list of instructive resolutions made by me after examining myself and realizing my past mistakes.
*I would love my spouse more:*
In the closeness of family life, it is easy to take each other for granted and let a dullness creep in that can dampen even the deepest love. So, I would love the mother of my children more and be free in letting them see that love.
*I will develop feelings of belonging*
If children do not feel that they belong in the family, they will soon find their primary group elsewhere. I will use meal times more to share happenings of the day instead of hurrying through them. I'd find more time for games or projects which all could join.
*I would laugh more with my children*
The best way to make children good is to make them happy. I see now that I was, many times far too serious. I must always be careful that I do not communicate that being a parent is a constant problem.
*I would be a better listener*
I believe that there is a vital link between listening to children's concerns when they are young and the extent to which they will share their concerns with their parents when they are older.
*I would do more encouraging*
There is probably nothing that stimulates children to love life and seek accomplishment more than sincere praise where they have done well.
*I will try to share God more intimately*
We are not whole persons when we stress only the physical, social and intellectual aspects of life. We are spiritual beings, and if the world is to know God and his will, parents must be primary conveyors. For my part, I would strive to share my faith with my children using a formal settings and unplanned happenings as occasions to speak on my relationship with God.

You can learn a lot from these decisions and also imbibe them in your training. And as you keep to these steps, coupled with consistent player, your sons will become as outstanding plants and your daughters are shining cornerstones.

Most experienced parents can testify that bringing up a child is not altogether an easy task. It is a duty with challenges, hopelessness and times of fear. This challenges could be as a result of societal trend, peer pressure, developmental stages of children, satanic manipulations, lack of cooperation by either parent or waywardness in children.
Especially in this 21st century, the challenges facing parents are manifold. Fashions and innovations targeted at enticing, misleading, enslaving and destroying children are the order of the day. Today's parents are contending with diverse issues that their own parents never heard of, much less dealt with. We are even sometimes being tempted to wonder what kind of world we have brought our children into. Parents need not to be afraid of these challenges but be determined to overcome them because there is abundant gain in successful parenting.
Child training must be a deliberate and well-planned program specially patterned according to the needs and peculiarities of each child. It should not be haphazardly done to avoid having maladjusted children who are morally, intellectually socially, economically and socially disadvantaged. It is imperative that as a parent you have to thoroughly know your children otherwise, you will not be able to give them appropriate training and guidance.
When your child is demonstrating some negative traits, help him to understand himself with wisdom. Never match aggression with aggression. Let him know that despite all, your love for him is unwavering. Let him know you still believe in him do not give up. Be firm. This is just a trying phase of child training.
Every successful parent has gone through this. Take Ben Carson's case as an example. At a time he was almost a write-off but his mother believed in him, prayed the more for him, guided him and proceeded with training him with firm principles. She succeeded at last.
Another example is Monica, a devout mother of Saint Augustine. She also had her own time of tearful toiling and travailing for the deliverance of her wayward son from the hand of the devil. Because she refused to give up even when his case appeared to be totally hopeless, she eventually had cause to smile as her son became a foremost defender of the faith.
Susanna Wesley couldn't have had it easy either. With several children to cater for, she ensured that they were taught the way of the lord. She was ceaseless in her prayers and firm in her ways.
*Quitters do not make a success of child training. Persistence is a key factor.*

There are many stories in history of people who tried but in vain to find true companionship in money, position, power, occultism, materialism, alcoholism among many other futile alternatives. A wealthy business tycoon once let out his frustration thus: "I have everything money can buy except peace of mind."
At another time, a well-known celebrity regretfully revealed, "I have my ways of hiding my pain - laughing when there was nothing to laugh at, smiling when there wasn't anything to smile about. That was just my way of getting through life. Pretending like everything was okay. I guess I did it so well that I really began to believe it. I fooled myself. Using my escapisms was my thing not to feel my pain - whatever would numb the pain... just because you have money doesn't mean you can't feel worthless. Just because people consider you beautiful doesn't mean that you feel that way.
Where are the great Men of yesteryears who championed great wars? The enormous power they wielded would not save them for the pangs of death. Many of them died miserably. King Solomon had numerous wives and concubines and was endowed with matchless wisdom; yet none of these would give him happiness and fulfillment in life.
Those who have tried the way of occultism (sorcery, magic, horoscope, witchcraft etc) have equally failed. They have always ended shamefully and miserably like king Saul of Israel whose doom was declared in the house of an occult woman, the witch at Endor.
Maybe you too have already gone to enquire through occult means about what the remaining half of this year holds for you or what the future holds for you or you may have gone to read your palms. If so, you must quickly renounce such and turn to the lord before it is too late. Not only does association with the occult enslave and ensnare, but it also attracts the wrath of the almighty God.
Drunkenness and alcoholism have not proven to be good companions to those who court them earlier. Instead, they have continued to wreak deadly havocs on lives and homes. Those who thought their sorrow would be taking care of by embracing these habits have since discovered, to their hurt, the hidden scourge in them.
Many women who have resulted to prostitution to make ends meet - as well as some married people who have sought solace in adultery- have found out that they are actually compounding their problems.
Indeed, nothing, absolutely nothing, can satisfactorily substitute for the place of Jesus in any life or situation.

One night, however, something happened that was to open my eyes to one of the harsh realities of life. While I was returning from another party thrown by the company's latest clients, my driver ran into a stationary truck. The impact was ghastly. The driver died on the spot while I was thrown halfway between life and death. When the news got to the company, both the general manager and the entire staff rallied round to help me get back on my feet. They could not afford to lose me at this time. I had become very instrumental to the company's client's base within a short time. . For several months, the doctors battled to save my life. They succeeded in saving my life eventually, but, sadly, the accident had affected my spinal cord. I was paralyzed from waist down. I had to be confined to a wheelchair.
Few months after I was discharged from the hospital, I got a letter telling me that I had been relieved of my appointment. I called my boss to find out what the matter was. He lied to me ( and I knew it) that the company was going through a tough time and downsizing was necessary. I tried to appeal to him that I could still be useful to the company. But my appeal was turned down. Of what use would a spineless beauty be to him and the organisation?
I tried to get Kathy and Josephine to help me talk to him. But, they told me bluntly that there was nothing they could do to help me. For some time, both ladies stayed around to help me financially and to assist with my house chores but they didn't last for long. They soon abandoned me completely citing strenuous jobs schedules as excuse. It was as if all my friends had connived to abandon me. The calls stop coming in. All my numerous male callers ceased to called me. Even those who had professed undying love for me were nowhere to be found. Many days I stared at my phone all day craving even for a beep but none ever came. A few times, I managed ( with the support of one of my unwilling neighbors) to visit Katherine and Josephine at home, I never went beyond the gates. Every attempt I made to reach them on phone proved completely useless.
When I saw that my friends had turned their backs on me, I decided to turn to my family. My father insisted that there was nothing they could do to rescue me. Mine was a self-inflicted calamity and I had to bear the consequences alone. All my entreaties fell on deaf ears. At a time when I needed company the most, I was left to carry on alone.
With all my friends gone and no one to talk to, I tried to face life by myself. But I so desperately needed help. I was miserable. I woke every night crying so bitterly. I craved company. I needed so badly to talk to someone but, I was never to have that opportunity again.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * *
This story is truly a touching one, and it opens one's eyes to some salient truths about life. The need for love and companionship in life cannot be denied. Nobody was created to live a solitary life. We all need the help of others to get along in life. Human love is limited. For some people their love for you terminates when they no longer get any favour from you. Some turn their backs when sickness besets your life. Even in marriage, despite the intimacy it offers, death still severs such a union. It is neither natural nor usual to bury a wife along with their dead husband or vice-versa.
But there is good news for you. There's a companion that never fails through the ups and downs of life; a companion that remains constant and helpful whether in life or death. That companion is Jesus. Jesus is that friend that sticketh closer than a brother and a shepherd which giveth his life for the sheep. When other faces fade out of view, His face will shine out with gentle love pouring it's light upon you. He will be there to guide, protect strengthen and supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.

My job hunt: part 2
29TH JUNE, 2022.
Next, we were in a very large office. It appeared like a reception. I was beginning to get nervous. With the occasional pats of my friends however, I relaxed a little. A man, most likely in his 60s approached us. The smile he wore was disarming. I completely relaxed now. I however tried to be in my best formal mood. I listened to the man talk for the next 10 minutes. He said what he wanted was a Personal Assistant. He asked me a few questions and told me that I was just the right candidate for the job😄.
It all happened so fast. It seemed so much like a dream. I was P.A. to the G.M! When he named the sum he intended to pay me as salary, I went wild with excitement. He however made it clear that there were no specifications regarding my work schedule. I couldn't care less about that. I could work for 24 hours on that kind of salary.
As soon as we were out of the place, Josephine drove us straight to a boutique. When I asked to know what we were doing there, they told me that I needed new clothes for my new job. I tried to protest but my protest made no difference. I had to dress in a way that befitted the personal assistant to the boss.
Later that day, I called to inform my parents of the good news. When I give the details, my father told me that I could not take up the appointment. He happened to have met a young lady who used to work there and from what he gathered about the place, I could not work there. Everything my father said was met with a rebuff. I was past caring about convictions and all those religious nonsense. I resumed the appointment despite warning for my parents.
The first few weeks at work was very normal. Soon however, things started moving really fast and I too had to move fast, I realised. One night, I got a call from my boss to meet him at a party. One of our customers was throwing a party and we had to be in attendance; it was one way of keeping the relationship with our clients going. From then on, partying became a major part of my job specification.
Before long, I relaxed and started to enjoy it all. We attended one party after another. I was used as bait for getting clients that proved difficult. The same me who had not had men coming for my hand all the while I was jobless, now had countless number of them craving my attention. I basked in the enjoyment of the moment. I had everything I ever desired. Thanks to my friends, I probably would still be roaming the streets in search of jobs that remained elusive.

My job hunt
I had just returned from one of my numerous job hunts. The out and frustrated, I made my way to the kitchen. It was practically empty. And the thought of going back to Kathy and Josephine to ask them to lend me some money was mortifying. To think that I would have to go through those lectures about taking my life in my own hands and all that tutorial about using what I have to get all that I need, including happiness, made me panic.
Since I graduated nearly three years ago, I had wandered from one organisation to another in search of a job. I had actually lost count of all the places my application had reached. At first, I had been very selective but when I discovered that getting a job was harder than I had thought, I started to apply even to those places I had earlier considered as being out of bounds. Yet, nothing happened.
In the beginning, my family was very supportive. They encouraged me to keep the faith that God Will Make a way soon. However, as they were helpless themselves, they could do nothing to help me with the job issue. Still, they never ceased to pray for and counsel me when necessary. After sometime however, I decided to leave home. I was tired of being a burden to anyone and I just had to find a way to chart the course of my life even if it means doing it without them.
Unfortunately, since I couldn't think of any other means of raising money, I had to keep going back to the only friends I knew could be of help. But they were not as unfriendly as I had feared. They gave me whatever I requested. To further heighten my surprise, on one of the occasions that I visited them, Josephine informed me that an arrangement has been made for me to see the general manager of one insurance company the next day. I could not believe my ears. I thank them profusely and left with high hopes. All the way home, I couldn't stop musing on how fortunate I was to be blessed with such wonderful friends. I could hardly wait for the morning.
Just as I got out of bed the next morning, Josephine called and asked me to dress 'properly' . I understood exactly what that meant and it made me a little uncomfortable. But I shrugged off every thought that would make me change my mind against going for this one. Josephine said it was an appointment to see the general manager of an insurance company. There couldn't be anything wrong with that. Besides, the ladies had been very nice to me. I was sure they meant no harm at all. With that encouragement I left the house....

Recently, the associated press reported the shocking murder of a seventeen-year-old Parish Reed by his 20 year old sister during an argument over money. You can imagine the kind of discussion that would have existed between both siblings that resulted in the death of the younger. Does this story remind you of Cain and Abel? Yes.
Scholars who study human behaviour, psychologists, say siblings' rivalry is normal and should be expected. Brothers and sisters often fight as they compete for equal share of family resources and parental affection. Some kids are lucky enough to be best friends with their siblings. For many others, it is a circle of fights, reconciliations and more fights.
Do you engage in frequent fights with your siblings? Be careful. Such fighting can be fatal and you will regret all your life. "... Take heed that ye be not consumed one of another".
Fighting among siblings can be upsetting and frustrating. It makes the home a kind of hell on earth. STOP this fighting. Remember you are brethren. Love your brothers and sisters. Allow Christ, the Prince of Peace into your heart. And you will begin to have new done in your relationships with others. Take steps today to reconcile with your siblings.

*ENDURANCE*
But for my endurance, I would have killed you long before now but I didn't. Through endurance, I planned salvation for you. I gave my Son to die for you. Though I am a consuming fire yet I am patient with you. Through patience, I have succeeded in saving many sinners. If you will be patient too, what to see as problems and difficulties today will turn out to be stepping stones to success.
*HELPING OTHERS*
You couldn't have had what you have now if I had refused you help. Likewise, you are to help others as I have helped you. Jonathan helped David when he was in trouble. Saul, Jonathan's father wanted to kill David for no just reason. Jonathan told David to escape for his life. You too can do so for others. You are not to make fun of others. Rather, help them out of their problems or predicament. *And the King shall answer and say unto them, very I say unto you, in as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me. Matthew 25:40.*
*HUMILITY*
You have no reason to be proud. Humble yourself before me and your elders. Anyone that is older than you are is your elder. *Ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder 1st Peter 5 verse 5.* These include your dad, mum church leaders, school teachers, etc. If you humble yourself, I will make you great. I will bless you.
*PRAYERFULNESS*
You must have noticed people praying before. You need to pray to me so that I can help you. If you invite me into your situation, I will come to your aid. If you are not praying, you will fail in many areas of life. If you pray to me with a pure heart, no power on earth can overcome you. Rhonda was a prayerful youth. She was among those who prayed for the release of Peter from the prison. My words say, *Men ought always to pray and not to faint.*
*DEPENDENCE*
You are insufficient on your own. A tree cannot make a forest. *Two are better than one.* You need to ask questions when you don't understand what you are taught. I have surrounded you with fellow youths and born again Christians to help you when you are confused. They are my children. Don't die in silence. In addition, you need to repent of your sins and ask the lord to come into your heart. Furthermore, you need to join a Bible-believing church, if you have not. If you keep to these restrictions, will be succeed in life.

A happy Sunday to everyone in the house. How are you today? I believe the weather is not too cold.
My name is wisdom. I carefully monitored your conception, your birth and I am still monitoring your growth. I am focusing on you in particular because I love you. You may not know me but I know you. If you listen to me, I will change your life and make you great. Never doubt my ability because I have done it for Joseph, David, job, Ruth, Samuel and Timothy, in the past. Read about them in my book called The Bible.
Can you recollect now how I protected, delivered, promoted and mightily bless them. What I did for them, and much more I will do for you if your life attracts me. Listen to me now. You can't excell without me. To achieve success in life and enjoy peace, here are ten things you must do:
*SALVATION FROM SIN*
You belong to me and not to Satan. I hate sin, that is, wrong conducts. Come out of stealing, fighting immorality, (boyfriend-girlfriend relationship), lying, witchcraft, occultism, smoking, drinking and other sins. When I see any of those wrong conducts in you, they make you stink. But do you know that I have solution to those sins? The solution is in my only begotten son, Jesus Christ. I sent Him to die for you. His blood is powerful and will wash you if you tell me that you are sorry for your sins and promise not to go back to them. Do it now and believe that I will forgive you. Now you are mine.
*KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WORD*
You will not enjoy me fully if you are ignorant of my word. You may know every subject in the school but if you don't know my word, your knowledge is incomplete. To know my word, you need to read the Bible, pray, understand what you read and hear, apply it to yourself, believe, obey, memorized and share it with other people.
*FAITH IN GOD*
You need faith because I will not appear physically to you now. Yet I am existing. I am real. Without faith, you cannot please me. It is faith that makes you believe that Jesus died for you, see sin as bad and deadly and entrust your life in my care(psalm 71:5).
*PURITY*
Do you know that I am holy? Likewise, I want you to be holy within and without. Your thoughts, desires and conducts must be holy because I am looking at you always. I know how dirty you are now. Your parents, friends and peers may not see you or know what you are doing but I know. If you repent and pray for purity, I will help you. Do it now before you read further.
*HardWork And Seriousness*
Now, I have questions for you. Are you hardworking? Do you do your assignments? Do you have a personal Reading timetable? Do you have goals for living or are you only playing? You must be hard working and serious if you want me to help you. There should be no room for laziness. Be sincere with yourself....
The greatest favour

It is common to desire favour from people who are in a position to give it. At the family level, children covet the favour of their parents. This frequently leads to siblings' rivalry. Do you remember Esau and Jacob? Jacob had favour with his mother and took over the favour and blessing that was meant for his elder brother, Esau. This led to the rivalry between the two siblings and for many years they could not see eye to eye. Esau was determined to kill Jacob.
Joseph suffered in the hands of his brothers because he was more favoured by their father. He was thrown into a deep well without water and eventually sold to another tribe far away from home. There are examples of students' rivalries in an attempt to gain favour from their teachers.
The Angel told Mary, "thou hast found favour with God." This is the greatest favour anyone can desire. I am sure you too desire the favour of God. God found Mary to be godly. She was a virgin who yeilded herself to God. No wonder she was a granted the greatest privilege of being the mother of Christ, the Savior of the whole world.
Yes, you desire God's favour but God wants you to surrender to Him. Today, you can find favour with God if you confess and forsake your sins, and surrender your life to him.
