22ND ARTICLE IN THE MONTH.

God is with me wherever I am. As high as God is, he lowered himself than the status of Angels to be able to sacrifice for me and relate with me. He came in human nature so that He could have a feel of what I am feeling. He was thirsty as I am thirsty and he asked water from the woman at the well. As I cry when someone dies, Christ cried when Lazarus died. He knows how I would feel when a person dies. He has compassion. After crying, he prayed and raised the dead back to life.

There is power that has been given to us. As my shadow follows me, God follows me. It is sin that can take away God's presence from me. When we go to market to buy something and we request for something and the seller is still searching for what we want, then we leave. When the seller eventually finds what we asked for, we are nowhere to be found. After we pray, we have to tarry in HIS presence. You have to wait till Christ brings what you request for. If you have Jesus, why would you fear what herbalist would do? God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble. He is ever with us.

We often forget that we are not alone in the journey of life and sometimes become terrified by the storms, sickness and satanic intimidations. It happened to the disciples of Jesus Christ even when Christ was right there with them in the ship. It is possible you too are afraid because of the uncertain outcome of the examination you wrote. It could be the thought of how you would go through school successfully in the face of the financial condition of your parents or guardians. It may be a sickness that is already reoccurring especially when you have some important things like examination or interview to face. Yet, it may be that you are scared by terrific dream, a negative feeling or a pronouncement by an evil man. If you are a child of God, that is you are born again and there's no sin in your life, there is nothing to fear. Emmanuel is with you and me.

That man born in Bethlehem, growing in wisdom and stature in the Carpenters house in Nazareth should be at the same time the God of all men. What an epitome of humility! At the feet of Jesus we need feel no fear. Your heart is sound. Heaven is settled. Help will be supplied. Healing is sure and there is Hope. When there is any problem, pray to God and claim His promises and it shall be well with you. Greater is he that is with us than the devil that is in the world.
