19TH ARTICLE IN THE MONTH.

Happy weekend! This week has been a bit stressful. Lots of work in school and other engagements. I have to take time to rest so I won't breakdown.

Sometimes ago, I watched a movie that taught me some lessons about marriage. The storyline is about a man who has a lovely wife. This couple lived each day of their lives like they were still in honeymoon. Their love was flowing visibly. One day, the wife's friend came visiting while the husband was about going out. This friend was married too but her husband had left her. She was amazed at the sight of love displayed by her friend and her husband.

To avoid ambiguity, the man's name is James, the wife is Sophia while the friend's name is Anita (not as used in the movie). Anita could not hide her feelings. She told Sophia that she wished James were her husband. Sophia was surprised at that statement and confronted her and Anita said it was a mistake. Since then, Anita has been sending signals to James like visiting him in the office and buying things for him but James would not receive anything without informing his wife first.

When Sophia heard all Anita was doing, she connected it with what she once said and concluded that Anita was after her husband. Anita eventually succeeded in having James in her house through the use of evil powers. Sophia was riding by when she saw her husband's car parked right in front of her friend's house. She opened the gate, went into the compound and knocked the door. She mentioned her name and Anita was alerted. James was already in the bedroom. She told him that his wife was around and he should be quiet.

Sophia entered and told Anita that her husband promised to come home early so they could go out but she hadn't seen him since two hours after close of work. She said she had gone to his office to check him but there was no one there. She sat down but Anita was not comfortable. She wanted her to leave immediately. Sophia tried her husband's number again and a phone rang but Anita said it was her own. She suspected her husband was in that house but she left.

As James was coming out later that night, he didn't notice his wife until he turned on the headlights and he saw his wife staring at him. It was as if the ground should open and swallow him up. He didn't know whether to drive home or find somewhere else to pass the night. He went home. The wife drove away in her car. She didn't behave like anything happened. She served him dinner and behaved as usual to her husband. She loved him more and this attitude humbled her husband made him confess to her and apologized.

Lessons

As a married woman/man, never receive gifts from an untrusted stranger without informing your partner as the case may be.

As a woman, don't make trouble with your man when you discover that he is having an affair. Love him more and respect him because no amount of trouble you make can change him. It will only worsen the situation.

Learn maturity and don't be too emotional.
