No safe place
In this world full of disasters and calamities, there is no safe place. If it's our time, it will be the end of us.
Greetings to my dearest sponsors. Thank you so much for the support. I appreciate you all. God bless and keep safe always.
This past few days we are full of worries and overthinking because of the current situation we are in, of typhoon and all the struggles we faced, we are having hard time. We faced so much heartbreaks and pain. Even so, it's not our place of loss but we sympathize to thus who have loss. It's painful for us too how much more if we fit in their shoe. Looking to the situation we pray and hope that everything will stop soon and no soul will be lost ever again. Becoming more vigilant and try ourselves to be awake more than often.
Even with the faith we have, we tend to still worry with all this disasters coming. It's normal because we are human being and worrying is a normal response to a situation like this. There were different response we could have in this times. Some of us prepare everything in case the situation calls for necessity, others are already evacuating. Our neighbors for example, were already in the evacuation center earlier this afternoon. So as my sister, who is far from us and was only communicated through mobile phones. She don't want to rush things when things get tough since she had two kids. Yet, here we are staying in our home, near the river and irrigation. We are not being stubborn or whatever. We are only listening to the nature. Yet, we are prepared if things will be escalated. Since as of the moments we no longer experience hard rain nor wind. Though a little rain to no rain, from time to time. The place is quite and peaceful as well. I believe we will still be vigilant of the danger and we are doing so.
Since my colleagues who is living two town away from where I live experience strong wind and strong rain, I believe they are still experiencing the wrath of the second typhoon that enter in our area of responsibility. Therefore, even with the distance we should still be vigilant at all times because we couldn't know how the weather would turn out to be in our favor or not.
Learning from this experience, I could tell to myself not being stubborn or hard headed that in this world today there will be no safe place for us. If it's our time, it will be our end. Many from the news on the previous typhoon that even though they are already in the evacuation center and they thought it was the safe place to be but then the evacuation collapsed and vanished. Many have died. Death is the most unassumed things in this life. We couldn't tell when it is coming to all of us, like the thief in the midnight it will just come and rubbed us with everything that we had in this world, this borrowed life.
Thus, I say, in this world full of worries and uncertainties, let's put our trust to the Almighty Father who have all the control. Let's entrust everything to him, since his the owner of this life we had. With all this worries only his love and power can put us in ease, therefore let's cling unto it. I believe that the only safe place for us is in the arms of our God the Father in heaven.
Let's offer a short prayer my dear brothers and sisters to the soul who now rest in his loving arms.
In the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen. Our loving God, may you give love and compassion towards our departed brothers and sisters. May you give them rest in your loving arms. May you will bring them unto your side and grant them the eternal life that you have prepared for us all. I ask these prayers to your mighty name Jesus whole lives and reign with you in the unity of the holy spirit one God forever and ever. Amen.
That would be all for today dear friends. Thank you so much for your time. Keep safe and God bless.
I hope you and your family get out safe and sound, be very careful.
