A future without electricity won't be possible anymore. Almost all the work and life of humans revolve around electricity. Nowadays even a one-hour powercut feels like torture. We rely on electricity for water, light, and even food. All the basic necessities rely on it. Electricity is mostly produced by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy through a machine that requires fossil fuels like coal, petroleum, etc as fuel. And if we dig deep we realize that fossil fuels are renewable sources of energy and aren't unlimited.
How Much Fossil Fuels Are Left?
It's not confirmed as there are many unexplored places on Earth where these fossil fuels are available but based on the consumption as of now, Petrol is supposed to be dried up first in around the upcoming 50-100 years. Then coal as most countries heavily relies on electric production for it which is the condition of India. India is rich in mineral resources as well as in coal but based on the population and consumption I think it will likely have the same fate as petroleum if no other alternative for electricity production is used. We even use coal to cook food.
Alternatives For Electricity Production
There are a lot of alternatives to produce stable electricity from other sources like water, wind, solar, nuclear, etc.
Which Is the Best And Cheapest Source?
Solar energy which we get from the Sun is the best and cheapest source available for electricity production and is the most underrated one also. I know not every part of the world can create it nor it can supply it all year. But as we say, we shouldn't rely on one source and make the best use of the available one. Solar energy is free, it also doesn't give any residuals and waste in its production.
Limitations Of Solar Energy
This source is best for normal household purposes but won't be enough to power more than that possibly factories or apartments.
But these limitations can be removed in the future with technological upgradation. In every Indian middle-class house, you can find a solar light, sadly ours was broken and we threw it two weeks ago.
Solar Electricity can be best used as a backup or night light source. The street lights with solar panels will be a very good option. Solar electricity will save energy a lot and lessen our reliance on fossil fuels. The more we become environment friendly the more peacefully we can live in future without much worries of drying of important resources.
I have to look for if I can install it in my house. So far, I think the government has some plans but the company making the solar panels was caught in not giving good products to the government offices so a new company is assigned for the production, here. Have to research it. And if someday I install it in my house, I will definitely share it with you guys.
Don't you think solar energy is the future? It's environment-friendly as budget-friendly but only if the government doesn't charges for it, lol.
Oh wait I found a informational YT video on it but sadly it's in Hindi language so I would just suggest the Indian users to check it out, as this video explains and clears every doubt and concept of how one can install solar electricity in their house. And every country has different rules for it.
Here in most places the use of solar energy is increasing. In hospitals, in Airports in most houses and even in farms. High consumption at low budget but as you told until the government charge for it.
I guess it is , and for now only the capable one or the one who can afford the technology can benefit from it. Do you also wonder why they are not pushing much solar energy as alternative? Or why the government are not funding the technology to improve it's use and potential? I guess, it's because people can only buy it once and recharge the machine or gadget for free. There is no continuous profit on it. Unlike electrical energy that we have to pay from the private /govt companies over and over and over.
It's not that costly for longer use just the setup is an investment but discount and subsidy is available for normal people in India, just people aren't aware of it and also it does require a open space where sunlight can fall, like a field or terrace and most of the people don't have place like that. Government is very slow in bringing technology and upgradation also, lol sleepers. We can get it easily but location acts as a barrier, like for me I have a terrace but the buildings around me are bigger and in noon only I get the sunlight so overall it won't be that helpful for me.
No doubt in this. Bruh Choose to Speak Facts tho it is just quietly happening that people are preferring solar Electricity nowadays in this inflated era.
Solar energy is the future. I really would want my house to be solar powered someday!
