Family's Day Out

Family indeed is an important thing. We can't live happily without them. We can't truly find the true meaning of love if we don't have a family. A house is not a home without family members inside. And family is not a family without love. Everything we dreamed and longed for is for our family's future situation. We strive harder to accomplish what we are aiming for for the family to have a better life ahead.

It is more valuable if we firmly spent our time with them making great memories. They deserve to be loved and valued no matter what instances have to splash in our lives. No matter how big or small waves are, we should put our confidence in them. They are worthy of all the things that we can share with them.

That's why, on my part, I didn't hesitate to spend my time with them. Treating them to enjoy life every moment. And I make it to my own little family, especially to my daughter. I delight them with a simple roaming around the city just yesterday. I was so happy then. 😃

So here's what happened yesterday. 😁

Yesterday morning, my husband and I had a short conversation about strolling around the City because he has no work at the time. We planned to bring us with our daughter too. We will try if our daughter will be happy if she will see another thing, especially the vehicles around. It will be her first time.

We decided to go to the city in the afternoon around 3:00 PM - Philippine Time. So, the time has come that we need to prepare ourselves since we will just ride a motorcycle from my husband going to the place. It took 30 minutes before we reached the place. We were also planning to get inside some of the stores in the City and fortunately, my baby has been given a chance to enter inside because our place is already under alert level 2 from IATF approval. But of course, it is more advantageous if both parents are fully vaccinated. They will surely allow you to go inside. And because we are both fully vaccinated, we were able to get inside.

I was so happy then because of the good news that my baby will now have the time to explore some of the things around. As a mother, I was so happy also to see her happy as well. She keeps on pointing at the toys with matching a baby talk when we were in the toy section. She was noisy and she keeps on smiling particularly to the sales lady who was there. I can't even explain the joy I felt. I had so much fun. 😊

After we roamed around the two stores, we agreed to take our dinner in a famous restaurant in the City called "Spy's Diner". The restaurant is open for all. They are not strict. They allowed kids to get inside but with social distancing. The area is very clean, wide, and relaxing because it is airconditioned. I love the atmosphere inside. From the music that plays, the decoration inside, and the ambiance is so well. I wanted to be there every day if I have a lot of money. Lol hahaha 😅 another reason why I love the place is that the food is yummy and affordable. You can really have a great time staying there. Hehehe 😁

We ordered soup the "bulalo" so that our baby can eat it too and the other one is called "stuffed shrimp". We also ordered cheese French fries and a glass of lemonade. That's all that we ordered. We only budget our money. Heehehe we waited for about 15 minutes only.

And because our tummies were already full, we went right away to City plaza to watch the Christmas lights there. There are just temporary Christmas lights. Maybe next week would be the grand lighting up of the Christmas lights and other Christmas-related lights. So in there, our baby had enjoyed it so much seeing different colors caused by the Christmas lights. And also because she saw kids playing around. She wanted to join them. She wanted to make friends. She was very cheerful. She always smiling. Such a relief seeing her happy.

Later on, we were distracted by the toy that was being sold on the street that had different colors on it. My baby doesn't resist getting close to the vendor. She wanted to have one. She keeps on pointing to the toy. And as a mother, I know what she wanted or needed. So, without any doubt, we bought one. She shouted for joy. 😅 So, we as parents, we're both happy seeing our child happy too. 😄

Yesterday was a great time for us. It was our first time roaming around the City together with our little princess. We were beyond glad that our daughter enjoyed the moment. She always smiling seeing another thing, another person she met around the City. The feelings I felt were unexplainable and unfathomable. Or in other words, mixed emotions. So, therefore, we decided again to bring her back to the City once more if the Christmas tree there will be finally lit up. Maybe next week if God willing. 🙏
