2-22-22 is One of Our Happiest Days.
Hello! My, read cash family. How are you? Are you all well? I am apologizing for not being active yesterday it was because I felt like I wanted to just lay in bed for the whole day for I am not well fine. My body seems don't cooperate to help me motivate to write and read some articles. I felt lazy to make my day a productive one. Yesterday, I was just keeping myself entertained by watching funny videos and scrolling up and down my FB account until such time that I felt bored, I dress up my baby and photograph her to divert my feeling of being tired or just to say being "lazy". I know some might of you relate to me. That feeling that you just wanted to be free and just feel the day without any stressors around. I can't explain. Just do understand that feeling tho. Lol.😄
Yesterday has an amazing date of 2-22-22. You know what? It's our favorite number with my husband. It's our number because it was date 22 when I decided to be committed to him and leave my ex just to be with my husband. This is the date that it became our memorable one until these days. We can't forget this number 22 for it is also our wedding date. 🥰
I know that some of us consider this number 2-22-22 as a lucky day. As I read some posts on social media, this number is said to be a lucky day. Maybe some might believe it. Some of you already wrote an article regarding this number and shared experiences. And I do appreciate that. We have differences in how we view life but as for me, I don't believe in fortune, I strongly believe in God's Providence and Blessing.🙏
Yesterday, I considered it also as one of the happiest days of our lives. Do you want to know why? Are you sure? Are you ready? Lol.
Well, yesterday was just a normal and simple day for me. As I said above, I felt lazy to do something productive yesterday so that's why I just lay in bed while looking after my baby's kakulitan. Hehehe
Since you are ready to know what was happened yesterday why I considered it as one of our happiest days is because after 2 months and 6 days of waiting patiently for the light to be back, finally we already have electricity again just yesterday. yehey!!! 👏 please do congratulate us. 😄 I was so happy after the electrician or shall we call them the " heroes of lights" fixed everything in our barangay the necessities to be done just for us to experience the electricity again after typhoon Odette clash them all.
It was 3 in the afternoon yesterday when I heard our neighbor shouting and shouting saying " siga na" in our dialect (bisaya) And in English, it means that " the electricity is back". See? Amidst the silence of the afternoon, because most people were taking a nap or rest, we were jumping out in bed and went outside our house to confirm it was true. We thought that it was just a prank or just a practice. Lol. But, our neighbors said it was not a joke. So, what we did was turn on our electric breaker and hop for joy because it was real. The lights are back. We were deeply happy. We were excited. We were beyond grateful. 🙏
Since the electricity was back we hurriedly charge our mobile phones, electric lamps, and power bank to secure because it might be temporary only. So we just need to make sure that it is already fully charged if there are still power interruptions. But so far so good, until evening and until now, there are no power interruptions. We are so thankful for all the "heroes of lights " for doing their best to make sure that everything is fixed. You know what, they fixed it for about 6 days only here in our barangay because they said that there are lots of damages, especially to the seashore side of our place. It was clashed by the typhoon Odette. So that's why they took almost a week fixing it.
We are so thankful to them and most of all to God for giving them protection and enough knowledge to repair all. For safety every time they touched the wires and every time they were on the electric post climbing to repair the damages there. I am so amazed as well at their abilities to do so. For repairing what was needed to. A SALUTE TO THEM. 👷♂️
So far, that would be all I can share with you regarding the date itself 2-22-22. I already shared why I considered it as one of the happiest days of our lives because it marks the new start of our life. We can now start what we want using electricity since it's back. We no longer visit other barangay just to charge our mobile phones and electric stuff. Also, no need to pay 20 pesos for the engine generator for us to be able to charge our electric stuff. Besides, no more darkness in the night. We can now see everything in every corner inside the house.
In addition, for sure, there would be an unlimited sing-along everywhere in the barangay because I know most of us missed it. 😄
That would be all for today. God bless you all. Shalom! 😇
