Good morning cashreaders......
We are in a period of viruses, colds and other diseases, so it is important to strengthen our own immune system.Today I will write about Propolis.
What is PROPOLIS?
Propolis is a versatile medicine and has a mysterious power to cure or alleviate many ailments.
Propolis is known to be a bee crop designed to maintain health in the beehive. The ingredients for it are collected by bees in nature. These are various resins and particles that become propolis only when bees process them into a new substance. We know that the resins that are a component of propolis are also a protection for plants in nature. When a bee mixes them and makes its home pharmacy in the hive, their effect is further enhanced. At the same time, it is the only thing that bees use to protect against parasites, mold, moisture and other enemies that could endanger their brood.
The extensive therapeutic potential of propolis was already known to our ancestors. Scientific research has confirmed that this mixture of resin, balm, essential oils, minerals, enzymes, wax, flavonoids and flavonoids is of miraculous importance, as: -it has an exceptional antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal effect
-Strengthen the immune system
-helps with inflammation and colds
This resinous substance is collected by bees from plant buds, tree bark and other plants. The collected resinous substance is processed with the help of enzymes contained in their saliva, while enriching it with active ingredients from pollen. Propolis is used by bees as a building material, and in addition, this substance also has a protective role at the entrance to the hive, as it protects the bee community from various infections and fungal diseases.
Although the entire structure of propolis is not exactly known, this miraculous mixture is said to contain about 50 percent resin, 30 percent essential oils, and about five percent pollen. In addition, it contains a lot of protein, and in smaller quantities also vitamins (7 vitamins, mostly B group found in pollen), minerals (iron, zinc, copper, manganese) and trace elements such as calcium, potassium and sodium.
The most important components of propolis are flavonoids (flavon, flavonol and flavanon), various phenols and aromas, which are responsible for its biological activity.
Today, apitherapy or the science of honey therapy, which also studies the effects of propolis, is established and recognized. It is astonishing how many scientific discussions have been published in recent decades about the effects of honey and propolis. At congresses, experts report their findings and describe treatment practices. Many professional books have been written about propolis, and our experts have made a huge contribution to the knowledge about the active ingredients of this bee crop.
We have known for a long time that propolis helps with inflammation, colds and skin problems. However, more and more expert discussions are talking about the fact that it can also be used to treat or alleviate gynecological problems, inflammation of the digestive tract, prostate problems and even cancer. Its effect on periodontal tissues has been proven, and research is also focused on curbing the HIV virus or tuberculosis, which is on the march again after its almost complete disappearance. Effects in patients with multiple sclerosis and many other places where modern medicine has failed are also mentioned. In any case, apitherapy together with propolis has already entered the field of official medicine.
Inhalations with propolis:
At higher temperatures, propolis liquefies, and at 82 degrees it begins to evaporate. Therefore, it can also be used for inhalations, in combination with honey and essential oils, which are also abundant in it. Thus, we can effectively alleviate airway inflammation. The procedure is simple: put propolis and other ingredients in the water just before boiling and inhale the steam.
Analgesic effect:
Propolis affects acute and chronic diseases, but also relieves pain. According to one data, it has a stronger effect on pain than cocaine and procaine. Many forms of use are known. Propolis creams treat pain in the spine and in the so-called tennis elbow. A piece of propolis between the teeth can temporarily alleviate the clenching in the tooth. It relieves pain when struck and stops bleeding when injured. Like honey, propolis makes a dressing and protects the wound, as it binds water, while also attracting bacteria and impurities and healing. Propolis can also help pull a thorn out of the tissue or suture that remains in the tissue after surgery.
Skin balm:
There is much debate about the effective treatment of skin diseases. Propolis cures acne, skin inflammations, reports of successful therapies in the treatment of psoriasis. Creams contain different concentrations of propolis, but tinctures and soaps can also be used. During puberty, these can be an effective remedy for acne. Propolis cures hair loss when the problems are caused by bacteria. It is also used to treat eye problems, where care should be taken and alcoholic solutions should be avoided.
Treatment of ulcers and digestive problems:
An ulcer is usually caused by a combination of problems. Many ulcers in the digestive tract are caused by bacteria and viruses against which propolis is effective. Bacteria start on the walls of the stomach, the acid makes an ulcer and so a wound is formed. Propolis therapy kills bacteria and protects wounds.
The most well-known and common is the use of propolis in inflammation of the oral cavity and throat. Sometimes in these cases, children were given propolis on a sugar cube. Today we know a whole range of preparations, from tablets to sprays.
Propolis also heals animals and plants:
Propolis is not only effective in treating humans but also animals and plants. It is established in the treatment of large animals such as horses, as well as pets, from dogs to cats and hamsters. There are also known preparations for spraying plants, which can be easily prepared at home. An aqueous solution of propolis should be made, to which some more sticky substances, such as milk, should be added, and the plants should be sprayed with the preparation.
PROPOLIS IS ACTUALLY A NATURAL ANTIBIOTIC.
