First of all, who are the idiots with this, I do not mean ignorant of the letters. Rather, I mean those who are steadfast in their erroneous opinions.
Regarding those who are ignorant, Those who do not know how to read are not only ignorant. Those who do not want to know, cannot ask questions, those who do not have a thirst for knowledge are also ignorant.
But Sheikh Saadi has said a little differently about who the idiots are, according to him-
"No matter how great a scholar you are, you are a fool without a reflection of it in your own life."

Hazrat Ali (ra) also said about why one should not chat with idiots.
"Try to stay away from idiots all the time, otherwise they will fool you too.
