Are you ready to groove? I couldn't get over the Balkan dance last night lol. When you hear this music, you'll get up and dance along with them. I hope you can pick up some steps after watching the video :) This is passed on to their children and grandchildren. How astonishing to see these young girls and boys learn these folk dances. It's not only the dance but also the traditional songs. When I listen to the tunes, there's a bit of Turkish melody in them. Maybe it has something to do with the invasion of Turkey to Bulgaria and the geographical aspects of these two countries. Amazing isn't it how neighboring countries can influence the culture and traditions of one's country? Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcBgK9rDp7k Would you like to dance with me? (wink) #photography #balkan #gratefulvibes #traditions

Neato! What city are you in? I assume you live in Bulgaria; is that true? I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, where lots of folks from Eastern Europe settled generations ago. There is a famous folk dance group called The Tamburitzans that perform there during the holidays. They had a big show on New Year's Eve when I still lived in Pittsburgh. https://www.thetamburitzans.org/
