I noticed that there are many customs, all around the world, that are degrading women. And, that is not good at all. One example, here in Serbia, where I am living, and also in some other countries, there is a custom of buying a bride. Of course,t hat is symbolically, but it is still not good.

Is there any custom that is degrading woman in your country? Can you share your opinion about this with us?

From place to place customs are diferent, but again so similar. I don't like some of them. Hope something will change in near future

On weding day, bride take any boy in her hands, so she could give birth to a boy. This shows that boys are more wanted than a girls. It is a shame that women takes a part in such a wrong custum.

Yes, and there is also a custom with glass. Bride hasd to break a glass, if she wants to have a son. That is not good at all.
