Good day to you everyone, I hope that you all had a nice day over there. It is pleasant to have you back on here. It's good to have my friend @Kristofferquincy back here after a few days of being sick. Furthermore, it is good to have you as a friend, dear. I talked about peace and conflict in my last post. I only have a very critical example and that draws the conclusion to be unclear as I wanted it to be.
So, the aim of this post is to give a typical example of a condition where a leader is in the position to decide and what the decision of the leader has resulted in. Kindly, take your time and let's consider this single issue together.
What I see as the difference between peace and conflicts is only reaching an agreement.Just like I have mentioned in my last post. Straight to the matter, few days ago, there was a case of conflict in one of the school around here. It's a tertiary institution, though. The school session has just two semesters. The first semester, and the second semester.
It was only the first semester, so new students have recently joined the school via the admission procedure and every one of them are busy with one registration or another.
The registration proceedings was supposed to be after the payment of school fees and other necessary payment. Many paid and many could not pay so early, so, it is only those who have paid that can proceed with their respective registrations. I believe that the digression is due to the critical financial position of the nation.
The government is barely taking part in any of the financial solution of the university.Very few, to a point that the government has met with the vice chancellor to pay the workers out of the money generated through tuition fee payment. And other payment generated internally by the school authorities.
This is thought of, and debated and also concluded as the solution by the state government and the school authorities during one of days of the meeting they had and agreed about it. Well, it is better late than never.The examination period will soon be fast approaching. The school authorities have to act fast as well.
As the institution, workers have not been paid for several months. What can be done to get noney as to pay the workers as soon as possible? That's the responsibility of the school authorities. Well, after summits, they reached an agreement which is an excellent one. The conclusion was that;
The whole of the two semesters which is supposed to be completed between eight and nine as it was done before the new session will be completed in seven months. That means the rate of admitting new students will increase automatically. The more the money that will be earned annually according to this plan.
A critical law, no tuition fee, no examination. To my perspective, they will get maximum fund to pay the workers from this plan. I hope that the plan will work. This was announced to everyone one of the students.
Those students would have agreed to the two terms if there was an economic stability. The financial and economic weelee weelee was so intense that even the governor had to avoid his responsibility. Well, I believe that the government action was not because of economic instability. The government owns the wealth and prosperity of a nation. It is just an irresponsible act in my perspective.
Back to the campus wherein we are coming from.It's three months of stay for the new students, and the students are just a week to the examination. Circular information was sent again to remind the students of the second conclusion as they are preparing for examination already.
Long story short. The examination started, and many students are kept away from the examination hall. The execution of the law led to riot and conflicts as many school properties were destroyed.
The riot and conflicts led to the closure of school for a very long time.My few questions are;
what do you think about the government decision?
His negligence of responsibility? The reaction of the students?
If you are a student leader of the school, what would you have done?
If you are the vice chancellor, what will be your action?
Thank you for reading through. I am truly grateful.

Though we can't put much blame on the students because those people behind the scene are not really students most of them are dropout and have nothing to do with there life's and don't want progress for others.
