Yes, it's nice to have a meticulous structure. Order and organization are necessary things. But to exist in the mess, to find yourself is not a separate fun. If you do not listen to the people around you, the order established in the mess will continue like this throughout your life. So is this normal? I guess that's the important thing. Just as excessive rigor is a psychological disorder. Excessive clutter can be a problem.

Having a messy room can be the result of many factors. Maybe you are too busy and have little time to clean and organize your room. You can be messy because you have too much stuff, or because you have kids running around all the time. However, regardless of all these reasons, the tidiness of your room may be related to your psychiatric condition. For example, it is seen that people diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder make too much effort to keep everything tidy, this effort negatively affects their daily life, and they feel anxious in messy environments. Likewise, it is normal for someone who has developed an obsession with hoarding their home to be constantly messy due to excessive piling up.

If cleaning and tidying up is not just a priority for you, if your house is not neat and tidy; your clutter is only due to your character traits and personal preferences. If clutter bothers you, but you can't start tidying up, it's quite normal. Sometimes trying to be organized is too tiring, and it's hard to put the clutter in order and start tidying up. The solution to this is simple, once the clutter is removed by making an effective priority order in short steps, there will be no problems. However, if someone who is normally well-organized suddenly becomes messy, it can be considered a sign of depression. Because when depression takes over the person, it is difficult for the person to find the energy necessary to tidy up or to clean his daily routine. If you suddenly realize that you are more messy than before, and you feel that you can't gather your energy even though you want to fix the situation, you can think of it as a sign of depression and consult a specialist psychologist.

According to studies, working in a tidy place can limit creativity, as it can cause a person to be in a mood influenced by society's expectations. On the contrary, working in a messy and idiosyncratic environment fosters creativity, as it creates a feeling of an environment independent of social norms.

Albert Einstein was also known for his desk being pretty messy. When asked, “if a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, then what can an empty desk signify?” she replied, defending her messy desk. Research also confirms this. Being full of mind can cause a bit of a mess, but it also causes the excitement of trying new things and daring.

Interestingly, one study concluded that people in a cluttered environment were less likely to donate. Clutter somehow creates a state of being more frugal in the person.

People who are used to their messy-order may become more bored and overwhelmed in places where different order rules must be followed. For example, teenagers whose rooms are more messy in adolescence are those who are more bored and uncomfortable at school. Or, if your house is very messy and you are used to it, the necessity of order in your workplace may bother you more than anyone else.

In the same study, it was revealed that people who are used to a messy environment also have a decreased will to make healthy choices. So if you get used to clutter, it may not take long to get used to junk food and a sedentary lifestyle.
