During my trip to ETHIOPIA, I came across this amazing fruit. It is called Sodom's apple, the name is linked to an episode in the Bible, according to which, after the fire of the city, everything was sterile and the only plant that grew was this. My guide explained to me that it is not edible, but rather, it is full of poison and can be deadly to humans. The well of San Patrizio is located in Orvieto, in central Italy. It was excavated and built around 1530 at the behest of the pope of the time. Happy Friday to all dear noises! I took these two photos in one of the lesser known places I've been: Malawi. Malawi is a southern African state, little beaten by tourism and therefore services are also scarce. Here I was in the capital, Lilongwe and more precisely in the open-air city market, where an explosion of smells and colors is persistent. It was a great experience, the first of that long journey!

Scrolling a long way back in my gallery, 2 old photos popped up from a Saturday night where we and friends went to eat American food. While not too healthy, occasionally a giant burger with fries, fried onion rings, eggs and bacon, and chicken nuggets. Accompanied by coke or pint of beer. Happy #caturday friends! My noise to start the weekend in the best way is about little Frida, a very sweet 5 month old kitten. She is growing healthy fast, luckily she lives in a great environment and is treated very well. I have been told that many nights she goes to sleep with the children, often with the youngest of the 2, getting inside the blankets and sticking to them. Isn't this wonderful?

This park, a nature reserve and a UNESCO heritage site, is located in the western part of Madagascar. Reaching it is not easy, it takes a few hours in a 4x4 and a crossing with a barge, on which people and cars are loaded. While waiting for dinner time, I show you Celje Castle, in Slovenia, which I visited last summer during my first solo trip. The castle is one of the most beautiful ever I have seen, it is being restored and they are doing a great job. From the city you can see the walls perched on the hill, the first photo. The next ones are inside, and from up there you can also enjoy a beautiful view of both the surrounding countryside and the old part of the city.

Have a nice start to the week friends !. It was the year 1985, my dad had just bought a new car, very nice for the time, and so he decided to let him do a lot of kilometers right away. From Florence, Italy, we went as far as Granada, southern Spain. These 2 photos were taken in Valencia, the great Arena, and a few kilometers outside Alicante. This was my first trip ever!

Tonight I decided to take you to a totally wild place: Cabo da Cabaceira, in the north of Mozambique. To reach it we had to travel many kilometers on a rough road, then take a boat, cross a village and a swamp and finally arrive in this paradise! There was just us, in addition to the locals. This place is called Butte du Lion and it is located in Waterloo, Belgium. Here the last battle of Napoleon Bonaparte was fought against the British and German troops. Good week everyone! These 2 images were taken at Pico Bolivar, Venezuela, year 2003. you take the longest cable car in the world, it starts from the city at 1,640 meters and arrives in Loma Redonda at an altitude of 4,765 !! there is no oxygen up there. The first photo is in an intermediate station, from which you have a beautiful view of the Andes, the second is on the summit, where we found this high mountain flower called Frileijon.

Cusco, Peru 1996. Still strong emotions. Bogota! The capital of Colombia. It is a huge city of about 9 million inhabitants, located at a high altitude at 2,600 meters above sea level. In these two images you can see the main square, plaza Bolivar and one of the most colorful streets of the La Candelaria district. It is one of the cities that I liked the most in all of Latin America!

Arrived in Orange walk town, I bought this river excursion, from where I saw this plant called banana orchid, then I visited the ancient Maya site, in the jungle, called Lamanai, where in a large area I climbed on many temples recovered over the years!

Happy #Splashot, the last one before Christmas :). In Florence they have just inaugurated the largest Ferris wheel in Italy, from the top of which you have a magnificent view over the whole city! It was the hardest splash I've done, 1.5 hours to bleach inside each arm of the wheel, but I'm very happy with the result

2 images from the Shwedagon pagoda in Yangoon, the largest and most sacred for Burma. There are thousands of stupas including the central one, the largest, 98 meters high and all laminated in gold. Karim Khan Citadel was the first thing I visited in the elegant city of Shiraz, Iran, where I was exactly 5 years ago these days. This huge and perfect fortress has a military-like architecture, with 4 large towers and today is a museum managed by the Iranian cultural heritage.

Happy last day of this year, noisers. Today I am taking you to one of the most famous bridges in Europe, the stone bridge of Mostar, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This 500 year old architectural marvel was perfectly rebuilt after the cruel war in the Balkans and I hope its new life is a sign of hope and peace for all! Bosnia 2011
