Karim Khan Citadel was the first thing I visited in the elegant city of Shiraz, Iran, where I was exactly 5 years ago these days. This huge and perfect fortress has a military-like architecture, with 4 large towers and today is a museum managed by the Iranian cultural heritage.

I think there is a pink mosque there or close... I'd like to visit it!!! That fortress is wonderful, original and great!!

  There are many mosques in Shiraz, one in particular is beautiful and huge, I will probably post some photos. I was lucky enough to be able to visit it and they let me into a couple of places forbidden to non-Muslims

  Yes, to see the details well you need to zoom in a little but I assure you that live they are perfectly noticeable with the naked eye
