How you THINK matters a lot
Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.
Ever since I signed up on this platform, today is my worst day ever. It is not about the platform, but my commitment towards it. I have been so lazy today that I did not create time for myself to engage with other users here. I don't want it to repeat itself again, so I am making some plans that will favor me. I slept for 6 hours straight today, this is something that has never occurred since I came on board. I really need to do something about it before it becomes an habit that I wouldn't be able to correct later in the future. I really missed everything that happened here during the time I was offline, lots of notifications to check, and I hope I will be able to visit every post before I am caught up in sleep again. It's 10:11 pm as at the time I am writing this article, I don't wish to sleep early today, setting an alarm for the next 6 hours, and I hope I will be able to stay awake till that time.
So sorry for whiling away your time with my bored personal issues. Today I will talk about a different thing entirely, " The way we think". The way we think matters a lot, some of the actions we take in life is as a result of our thoughts. If what we think in a day plays around disappointments, sadness, and stress, then we are automatically telling ourselves that we can't achieve anything good for that day. The way we think, how we think, and what we are thinking about really matters in every individuals life. It is a wide topic to talk about, but I will only touch a smaller part of it today.
Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.
Our thoughts have a way of influencing us and all what we do in our daily lives. We tend give different interpretation to every little thing that is happening around us, and we try to suit ourselves into this interpretation making it look so true, when most of the time they are not. It's our environment influencing us. So it's high time as individuals to make a huge change to the way we think. Whatever happens around us shouldn't influence our thoughts in a negative way. It may take a longer time to achieve this if you have already configured your mind to always think that way. But it is so possible to make a change after now.
So many things may happen in our personal lives, families, and sometimes we listen to some conversations from different people and after sometime we begin to come up with different meanings and perceptions to what happened and what people said and keep it within us for a long time. In moments like this, take your time to reconsider everything all over again so you won't be making the wrong decision later in the future. Our thoughts should be filled with ideas on how to work things out the right way and not the other way around.
VERDICT
Our decisions, and actions are as a result of what we think. How we think will give us an advantage over the next person. It is a necessity that we train our minds to think positive and not negative. The product of our thought is capable of making us and also destroying us. Choose wisely.

The kind of thoughts we allow into our mind goes a long way in how it shapes us. We are what we think about. To change our lives we need to change the way we think. Our lives would move in the direction of our predominant thoughts.
