Putting some colors on my face... Date: June 26,2022 Author: Sequoia When was the last time that you did yourself a favor? When was your last self pampering? Where was the last destination you let your feet walked on? What's the recent gift that you offer to your self? How did you spend your weekend? In simple terms, can you still remember the last time that you allow yourself to be free and just let your imagination wander and discover the potentials within you? The last time that you treat yourself and just unleash it from all the burden, pressure and overthinking? Well, to tell you honestly, it's been awhile since I last let myself take a real break from overthinking and weariness. Well, there are days where I do nothing but my mind is still thinking of something that causes me to not enjoy the break that I gave to myself. I always end up worrying about the things that should be done that day. And that's not good. However, the past two-day break was extra different than what I am used to. For the first time in a very long time, I allowed myself to discover and rekindle the buried creativity within my soul. I am certain that you are now thinking on what might it be. Well, for other people, maybe it's just nothing and might call me dramatic, but for me, it was the type of break that I needed to help me process the negative thoughts and turn it into something beautiful. Who would have thought that a simple make-up practice session is all the therapy that I need in order to function and be alive again from the inside? I always wonder why I easily get drain or burnout, little did I know that my body and mind is missing something. Something that once gave me peace of mind and contentment. And yep, you are right, it is doing make-up. When I was younger, I love messing up with my aunt's make-ups and apply it to my small face. However, as I grow up, I started hating it to the point that as much ass possible, I don't want my face to be touch by any make-up paraphernalia. However, things changed when my friend asked me if I could do her make up. Despite of not having any experience, I decided to give it a try and I really did enjoy it and was able to produce a great output. From that day on, my love for putting make up to someone and my face has been one of my past time. But then again, I decided not to put some to my face because of my pimples. But then, graduation day is approaching. As what I have shared in noise.cash, I decided to do my own make-up for the graduation pictorial and ceremony, than hire someone to do it. I bought the materials that I am going to use and started practicing last last night. And that's the main reason why I am missing in action in here. I have discovered that I can do make up naman pala hihih. I mean, I am happy with my performance. But of course, it does need improvements as well. Lemme show you my sample look;
