I am not so happy this morning with the News I read with respect to the on-going war between Ukraine And Russia. This is a war that started on February 24,2022 and still continues , with no end in sight. This article is not been written to apportion blame on anybody. It is not out to achieve any cheap political points but it is written to appeal to the sensibility of the International Community , two warring factions, to find a way of put an end to this. Several reasons had been put forward either to justify or nullify the war but my own focus is on casualties so far recorded which could have been averted.

Catastrophic Incident Could Be Averted.

There's no disputing the fact that two wrongs can never make a right and we know for sure that when two Elephants fight , it is the grass that would suffer. That is how they put it in my part of the world. If that is the case , the grass had suffered too much.

God forbids this. Imagine a situation of leaving your house in the morning to take a train to a nearby town , only for you to hear the sound of bombs , that a section of the train in which you are had been bombed . Later on you are been awashed with News of the death of civilians like you. No matter how. You will feel bad and shocked to the bone marrow. The Journey I doubt , it may not be continued. Whatever you may be having in mind for that day cannot be achieved. Sadness and grieve would not be your portion. Definitely , you will feel sad and bad.

JOURNALISTS Of Repute Reportedly Killed. This Could Have been Averted.

Information had it that some Journalists during the course of carrying out their Professional duties , some met their untimely deaths. Let me share one of these sad incident to you.

The above Picture is that of BRENT RENAUD KILLED IN THIS ON-GOING WAR IN UKRAINE.

BRENT RENAUD was killed in Ukraine after Russian Forces opened fire on his vehicle. The 50 Year Old from Arkansas was gathering material for a report about Refugees when his vehicle was hit at a checkpoint in Irpin not far from Ukrainian Capital , Kyiv. May his soul rest in Perfect Peace .

In another development , a Ukrainian Journalist by name YEVHENII SKAUM ,a Camera Operator for the UKRAINIAN TELEVISION CHANNEL was shot in an Ambush during the course of doing his Professional duties.

Another set of People were reportedly Massacred in Bucha during this On-going War.

Then there was a report credited to United Nations that between 13,000 and 13,300 People had been killed so far.

During the Liberation of Dombas , in reference to Luhansk And Donetsk regions ,at least 4 Million People have fled and more than 1,000 Civilians are dead in the Worst Refugee Crisis in Europe since World War 2 .

Without doubt , many human Resources had been lost and displaced from their original homes. They cannot be stable in mind now not until they are finally settled peacefully some where.

Women and Children are the most hit in this War. They are either wantonly killed or scattered away from their loved ones due to the present war. They are highly useful for the World. They cannot be ignored or wished away just like that. Let the appeal of millions of people Worldwide be heeded to without any delay. We cannot continue folding our arms and be watching innocent people dying away just like that. We can find amicable solution to the War. It is not too late to stop. It can be stopped.

Either remotely or otherwise , we can put an end to it. Hearing on the Television Set about the casualties being recorded and reading News about it cannot be classified as Good News to all of us while then are we folding our arms seeing human beings like us being killed like fowls ?

Kudos To European Union .

If News filtering in from all corners of the Globe have something to write home about then a way out is coming , at least temporarily.

"European Union has approved an emergency Plan allowing UKRAINIANS to live and work in any of it's 27 Membe States for up to 3 years." This is temporary succour to those who can flee. and relocated to other parts of Europe.

Power Of Diplomacy And Dialogue To De-escalate The War.

Though Reports from the Round Table Discussion Between Russia and Ukraine in Antalya Turkey achieved little success ,it should not be abandoned totally. Experts believed that two warring factions if properly coordinated which Turkey is doing at present would put an end to the War.

Turkey has so far maintained neutrality in this On-going War , she can do a lot more to end this war by still bringing the two sides together. Let other like minds join hands with Turkey to De-escalate this war. Let us put an end to this war and drastically reduce casualties.

Let Brotherly Love Radiate And Continue Unabated.

We are all brothers and sisters. Why are we fighting to the extent of killing our brothers and sisters. Let the love that had been existing between the partners in war continue Unabated.

The Issues Involved , Let Them Be Resolved Diplomatically .

There's no single issue that cannot be resolved Diplomatically. Human Challenges Can be resolved with Human Ingenuity without losing your pride and ego. International Community don't be tired. Let us put an end to this war for the sake of this generation and generation yet unborn.
