ODE TO A COFFEE BEAN Oh coffee bean, how I love to crush you To grind you To place you in boiling water The smell of your torture Excites me so much. You suffer a grisly death So that I may live. Pulled from the plant that nourished you Taken thousands of miles from your home So that I And others of my ilk May awaken to A better world Coffee bean I salute you And the sacrifice you made © 06/24/2014 Michael Joseph Ratcliffe #coffee #coughee #OriginalProse

Brachialromatic, very beautiful! I raise my coffee cup to this artwork!
Did not know you have a poet in you. Well written.
ohhh but can i have a tea :)
Yes indeed. While coffee smells great, it is unpalatable. Tea has it beat in every other sense.
hello there OldBastard :) i just dont drink coffee, the aroma is good, but i dont like the taste of it.. and tea is just perfect for my taste :)
Tea is great. It's supposedly healthy too, although I don't necessarily drink it for that reason. What takes tea to the next level is to get some loose leaf tea and brew up a pot of it. But ..... lazy critter that I am, I usually just stick to my tea bags.
i am a lazy critter too and just buy tea bags hehehehe
Haha coffee lover appreciates that! Count my husband.
And while the aroma Of the dark liquid you leave behind Smells oh so good, heavenly, divine, The liquid's bitter taste Reminds me of your bitter death. I fling it into the kitchen sink, And make myself a cup of tea instead.
