*waves from the Home of the White Squirrels* Not dead. Not sick. Well, not physically sick anyway, but I *am* a bit sick of social media lately so I'm somewhere either in the middle of or the early stages of a social media break. I may look in here occasionally since this site isn't quite as stressful as some I am on, but it'll likely be after the 'holiday season' ends before I come back full time. BUT---while I am here---can anyone tell me, is it the 'S' or the 'C' that is silent in the word 'science'? And why do we even have a 'C' in the alphabet when 'K' and 'S' cover the sounds a 'C' makes? Okay, that's all for now, hope everyone is doing fine.

Glad to see you back, even if it's only part time. I can't help with your question, since English is a foreign language for me. But "since" would look funny otherwise. Sinke...
This has always been a bit stressful of a period for me since long ago, I thought perhaps I should say something so no one gets too worried because I've 'vanished' from everywhere for a bit.
Yes, I was a bit worried. But now that I know everything is ok I am relieved.
Gonna miss seeing your posts, but health is way more important than anything else. Take it easy and enjoy the holidays! Catch ya when I catch ya next!
That last one 😀 It's looking to take you in a fight! 😂
"Keep your hands off my nuts!"
I am a bit flu today but still doing really good when I sit down on chair.
Welcome back sir, glad to see you after 1 week. Me and quiz miss you so much and I'm glad you don't have the Lysol in your hand now . Beautiful squirrel 🐿️ I wish I could have one.
For the low low price of only $9.95 + $236.53 shipping and handling I could send you one
I changed my mind sir, with those price, I'll be contented with the picture. Nice capture of squirrel 🐿️, they're so cute.
There's a minimum $750 fine here if someone gets caught keeping one in captivity, gotta cover the costs ya know
That is one tricky question you have there friend, when I am studying english I associate words with object because english is not my first language. For C, I imagine cinema, if you replace it with S it makes it different like for S, Siren. If you make it with C it make Ciren. And Cable would be Kable. Which makes a diffirent sound if you pronounce it.
I love the pictures. I’m not sure about the s or the c. If you find out, let me know
At least your alive and well buddy. Was thinking about your absence the last coupleof days. Happy holidays dude...dont do anything i wouldnt😜
I looked this up because I have never seen a white squirrel. Not even in a photograph. This is a first. "The white squirrel is actually a genetic anomaly due to a mutated gene from the common Eastern Gray Squirrel. It is called leucism, which is a condition characterized by reduced pigmentation in animals caused by a recessive allele. Unlike albinism, it is a reduction in all types of skin pigment, not just melanin." (SOURCE: https://marinelab.fsu.edu/archive/virtual-classroom/fast-facts/white-squirrels/)

soooooooooooo cute these little guys, wonderful pictures !!!
cute, never seen an albino squirrel yet. but i like red and black colored squirrels
I've never seen a white squirrel and the ones we have here is nowhere to be found. It looks so cute!!!! And speaking of "C" I'm having a hard time with Tia learning her "C" "K" sound which letter to fill up the word as it sounds the same. Sometimes I give up. 🤣
What a cutie! :)
You made me laugh thinking about how most Anglo-Saxon speaking people say the Italian word 'bruschetta' Lol
Wow, looks like you have a lot of white squirrels in your area! I understand what you mean about social media. I stopped engaging in other platforms a few months ago and just stuck to this one. Even then, I’ve also taken a break from here for a couple of weeks. I also have no idea why we have redundant sounds in the alphabet. Lol!
That is a cute squirrel.
