• The Japanese e-commerce and business giant Rakuten, integrated its crypto platform with its e-pay operations, allowing customers of its Rakuten Wallet and exchange platform to top up their e-pay accounts using Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Customers can spend their money via smartphone apps at participating outlets including some of the major convenience store chains such as Seven Eleven, Family Mart, and Lawson.

• A BCH-based project Moeing Chain has caused a lot of discussions in the community. Expected to go live at the end of May this year, Moeing Chain is an EVM&(Ethereum Virtual Machine) Web3-compatible sidechain, and will bring smart contracts and DeFi support for Bitcoin Cash.

• One.Surgery, a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving access to safe surgical care, is currently accepting BCH sponsorship to raise funds to award clinicians, carers, researchers, best writers and others who have made outstanding contributions to the field of surgery. Awards includes BCH and BCH-based NFTs.Non-custodial crypto wallet Signup has released v1.2.0. This version delivers features like SLP tokens and NFTs. They aim to bring the user experience of NFTs in Signup.cash to new highs.

• Chris Troutner, a software developer and founder of the Permissionless Software Foundation, joined George Donnelly to discuss SLP tokens on BCH, app infrastructure for BCH, and his winning CoinParty hackathon project PurelyPeer. The interview video is avaliable to watch on Youtube.

• As of Feb 27, the BCH position of Grayscale Trust is 288,025 BCH, an increase of 3,550 BCH compared to last week, the current premium rate remains as high as 542.86%.

• General Protocols closed its Series A financing round with $3 million raised. Investors include: Marc De Mesel, Roger Ver, Christopher Wu, Margus Kokk and Mike Komaransky. Read further about this great news here.
